Welcome to the official support thread for v1.04 of the NLSC current roster update for NBA Live 08.

A new version (v1.04) of the current roster update for NBA Live 08 is now available to download here.

Key features of v1.04:

I see you've already been given a solution over in the release thread but for anyone who's missed it, the easiest way for the moment is to rename your sgsm folder (sgsm1 is easy enough), install the update, delete the folder created by the NLSC update and rename sgsm1 back to sgsm.

I want to know if the following is included in the update:
Mike Harris - rookie - Houston Rockets - replaced Gerald Green who apparently described by Houston as someone whose not ready to play professional Bball. and still needs to improve.

and smush parker atlast being kicked off the miami team.

Brent Barry signed with SA
Ira Newble said to sign with Cavs.

The first transaction is included but Parker was waived after v1.04 is released and the other two moves are not official yet, so they're not included. v1.05 will definitely feature Parker as a free agent and assuming the latter two deals are done by its release, they'll be in there too.

Is it possible to make a roster for NBA live 08 on the PSP?

As far as I know it's not possible. I certainly can't make one as I don't have a PSP. Sorry.

oh that's too bad because i've opened the game on my computer and you can see all the files just like the PC version so but i don't know in which map the roster are so that way i can see if the files are the same or not. Do you know which one it i?

I believe the PSP's files are different, though it uses the same ratings if you want to make any in-game edits.

The psp version scks... hehe.. No one will i think create one for it because it has no create-a-player in it. I don't think there a way to change the player's rating.

Gamefaqs has a updated roster but it only has players on its right team and no player rating changes and rookies..

Just want to share.

I made a note of that the other day. I do check the transactions, though admittedly I did miss a minor one in v1.03 due to some outdated sources. That update was released in the morning AEST though, usually I release the updates in the evening which avoids that problem.

Does this unlock alternates?

Yes, it unlocks the four alternates in the default teamgear.dbf. Note that the jersey preview for the Wizards' gold alternate is incorrect (that's an issue with the art files, not the rosters) but the jersey that appears in-game is correct if you select the Wizards' alternate.

They are rosters accurate as of March 8th, 2008.

I have a slight issue. After installing this mod all worked great, faces etc.

Today though, when I try to pick the Dream Team 1 or 3 I can't select their jerseys. Which typically is white or blue. Now it says locked...and it won't let me continue past that point. If I back out totally and go back to play now, and continue continue continue bam it goes to the game...however they are all wearing purple Laker jerseys....

bah seeing jordan in the lake show made me puke a bit...any idea on how to fix this?

That's really odd. I've tested the rosters thoroughly and that shouldn't happen; all the database values are correct and I've never encountered a problem with the wrong jerseys being displayed or the game crashing. Have you installed any other mods since the NLSC roster update or have you previous installed another roster update? There could be a conflict somewhere.

Care to be a bit more specific? I welcome constructive feedback but generic bashing of my work doesn't exactly help me improve the updates or fix any problems you may be experiencing.

only some of the faces have changed and the rookie sophmore team worked, the rosters are sorta accurate but i think they are my rosters. i don't really no wat to do, and also i want to get philadelphia, utah, charlotte, washingston, and new jeserys alternate jeserys and i changed the number 0 to 1 in team gear but still i don't get it, can you help me thanks
