Can't score in season mode - how do you do it?

This game is driving me nuts.

As already mentioned in another thread I have a FG% above 50 in exhibition games but cannot score in season mode.

With shooting set to 50 I only have 37-39% FG. I take just the same shots as the cpu does. Played a game, played another one...without luck. I lose by 20 or 30 BUT win exhibition games with the same settings.

I started a dynasty with the Knicks. After the first half my FG was 38%.
Before the start of the third quarter I increased short, medium and long range shooting to 75 (!). Still I only hit 45% of my shots.

Although being set to 75 and having good 3P shooters on the roster (with the 3P icon...Crawford, Richardson...) I could not make a SINGLE 3pointer. I went 0-18. Come on...this can't be true.

Is this a bug or something???

Just played a quarter in dynasty mode.

NY vs. Phoenix

10 minutes. 5 min with 75 shooting (slider), 5 with 55.

4/5 from 3P range @ 75 (slider)
2/3 from 3P range @ 55 (slider)

39!!! points in 10 minutes (record!)

60% FG.
High FG% with 55 shooting (slider).

I don't understand it. It was a home game...could this be the reason?

I don't get it, sorry. Lots of season / dyn. games games seem to be much more difficult. I also think that the cpu guards more tightly. But vs. Phoenix it felt like an exhibition game. I hit almost all of my shots and Phoenix just let me score without guarding.

I'm all "????????".

Oh well. I can't even score in exhibition mode.

I just had a new "record". In 2x9 minutes (half) I hit 9-31 shots. YES!!!
Then I switched shot control to cpu...still bad FG%.

In 18 minutes of play I had 27 freethrow attempts. I ended the game with 48 attemps. New record.
