if anybody wants my rosters, i am on xbox live, and always connected. GAVIN VANDRAVEN is my gamertag. just add me as a friend and i will have them in my EA Locker. point gaurds have low shooting tendencies, and big guys dont run so much.... its similar to playmakers, but it was done off the last official roster update. and i didnt raise rebounding quite so high, and for some lowly teams... not at all. see for yourself if you want.

-Maybe Gasol shouldn't be as good as Paul.
-Iguodala is overrated.
-Shaq 91! he's only averaging 13 pts and 8 rebounds
-Davis cant be better than Paul when is clear that CP3 is as good as Nash or even better.

Good job with the teams (Y)

baron davis is an allaround pg imo (example: his dunking ability is far higher), so if u calculate his overall/rating he is definitely more complete than paul.

Marbury should not be an 89 though... nor should Hughes be an 86, both are about 10 overall points too high..

in case you haven't noticed, i did raise all of the star players considerably. 10 to 20 points per rating. so every player is about 5-10 points(give or take)over their original rating from EA. kobe and lebron would be over 105 each if the ratings didnt stop at 99. this is not to say i think they are at jordan's level or wilt's level... 110 or 120 by this scale... numbers simply dont go that high. so i meant for players to be overrated. how are they in relation to each other? not in relation to EA's ratings.

as far as roleplayers go,

pass lane defense, interceptions, drawing charges, dunk layup shot off, finishing with contact, putbacks.... all went down 50 points globally. (you can edit players during dynasty mode anyways, so im just dropping all cpu generated rookies 50 pts in these attributes as well.

1rst step, triple threat and penetration and fastbreak anticipation went down 50 points for all big guys....

jdub101's tendencies are awesome. i lowered all point guards 50 on each tho, also the go to guy, shooters mentality went down 50 points for all point guards. most run the offense now without trying to dominate.

the better teams got a ratings boost of 10-20 points per rating.... weaker teams got less of a boost 5-10. teams like miami lost 5-10 points per rating.
if anyone wants them, i will have them up in a day or so...

playmakers =sarcastic mavs fan lol.
if it wasnt for you man, none of us would have a clue on how to make this game playable.

i think i am pretty much done... i may give a slight boost to the clippers and kings, but i am going to keep them under 70 overall. but that will be tomorrow. and i still need to edit the free agent pool. 7:30 am is way to late to do this crap... going crosseyed.

How can I get a copy of your file?

I spent so much time messing around with college ball I never finished up a updated Live file after the trades and free-agent pickups.

I have XBOX 360 just in case your file is for that system.

wow. Playmakers asking me for a copy of my file. i just about crapped my pants. the file is in my ea locker, my gamer tag is GAVIN VANDRAVEN. just add me, im always connected... and i will add anybody who asks to be my friend. you can download the file UPDATED DYNASTY ROSTERS from my locker.
i just finished all the free agents tonight. i didnt boost any of their ratings, i just lowered the following..
DLCO, PUTB, FNSH, INTR, CHRG, PLDE -50 GLOBALLY.
DUNF, VERT, AGGR -30 GLOBALLY.
ANTI, PEN, THRT, 1STP -50 ALL PF AND C.
ALL PGS AT 0 SHME, GOTO ( -50 ALL SHOOTING TENDENCIES.)

all other ratings were raised or lowered on a team by team basis 5-20 points per rating... the overall ratings are in the original post. thanks Playmakers, for the inspiration to do this.

There should be a big difference in the rankings in the east and west

denver 82??? cleveland is higher than denver when denver is clearly the better team

they won tons more games than cleveland

the top 9 teams in the west should be 90 or above in my opinion

portland deserves an 80 or above

More importantly, changing the overall team ratings is achieved by editing the players on the roster. If you're going to edit players to make their team's overall look better, you're going to end up with a lot of overrated and underrated players whose ratings do not reflect their individual performance.

there really is no other way to make a team better or worse than by lowering or raising individual ratings... so yeas, alot of role players are going to be underrated, especially on bad teams. but what is great is that even after you start a dynasty, you can go back in and edit the players this year. and besides, the year isnt over yet, and these ratings could be way off by the end of april. if there were a way to edit chemistry to effect the whole teams rating..... i would do it.

Exactly, it's difficult to get that balance since you can't really account for teams that have talent but still struggle and teams that aren't quite as deep yet are more successful. Chemistry is a factor in success but as kingjames23 already noted, it's a hidden attribute and thus can't be adjusted on the consoles.
