Games you're looking forward to this week

Postby Andrew on Tue Mar 18, 2008 9:40 am

This will vary depending on how you watch NBA games (and thus which games are available to you) but which matchups are you looking forward to this week?

Of the four games on Aussie pay TV this week, the one I'm looking forward to most would be Mavericks/Celtics. Unless I missed one somewhere, it's the first Mavs game that's being shown here since the Kidd trade in February and every win is important for the top eight in the West right now. On the other side, you've got the Celtics' big three so it should be a fun game to watch.

Phoenix @ Portland tomorrow night. Unfortunately I can't go, but I think it's going to be an exciting game. Roy and Aldridge are really clicking... I seriously cannot wait for next year. O-den. O-DEN. O-DEN.(Y)

The Rockets vs. Celtics is what I'm looking forward to.
Going for 23 straight against the the top team in the East.
It should be good, with the McGrady-Pierce matchup.

Just wondering, but is this AI's first trip back to Philly since the trade?
I've been waiting for that game, but hasn't it passed already?

If Bogut plays, it will probably hold my interest. With Wade out and likely Marion and Haslem sitting too, it's not going to be as exciting as it could be.

No doubt the Rockets vs the Celtics. West's top team against the East's top team with the winning streak on the line.

Other than that, nothing else in the NBA interests me until playoff time starts.

In my case, I hope the Rockets beat them, since I've bet $23 with a friend that the Rockets will win 23 straight.

Yea, but I think this is actually the first time the Nuggets are visiting Denver after the AI trade.

Then I can't wait to see that!
You think Philly will boo AI like Toronto with Vince or cheer for him like Garnett back in 'Sota? I'm thinking cheer, because he actually tried when he was still there.

Listening live to the Rockets-Celts game on NBA.com and Alston-Rondo got double-tec'd just right after the game's opening tip for being involved in a shoving match. At least that's what I understand from what the broadcasters are saying.

Refs better be prepared to keep this game under control. Might be a pretty intense game.

I missed the Lakers/Rockets game as I was interested to see if the Rockets would go past beyond their record. :|

You're right, I remember now. I didn't see that game which is probably why it slipped my mind.

I couldn't be bothered with the Bucks/Heat game today once I found out Bogut wouldn't be playing.
