March Madness

Selection Sunday was yesterday, so fill up your brackets on Yahoo and join the NLSC group:

ID#: 55140
pw: nlsc

I picked Kansas St. to upset USC and Wisconsin (maybe the Wisconsin call was a bit of a stretch) Baylor to take Purdue down, and Pitt to upset Memphis. nothing else was too crazy.

damn Cal St Fullerton for destroying my UC Irvine Anteaters in the Big West Finals. Had we played Northridge instead, we probably would've made our first appearance in the NCAA tournament.

OK I joined... and what the hell, Xavier a fucking 3rd seed. Bullshit.

I took Kansas over Memphis in the finals... mostly picked the higher seed, though am hoping to see some ridiclious upsets.

Um, I forget already but I think I have Kansas over UCLA. Although, I always secretly hope for Duke to screw me over and win it all.
Opinions are my own.

Picking UNC over UCLA in the finals. I'm thinking there might not be a whole lot of upsets this year.

A basketball board yet no talk of the Big Dance? Sure we're a ways into it now but whats yalls take? Teams/Players/Sleepers/Underdogs?

I've seen so many great games already and am honestly looking forward to play resuming this weekend. Its been awhile since i could say that about any sport, much less basketball.

EDIT: Thanks Jae

damn dude Stephen Curry is on fire. He'll definitely go first round this year if he declares for the draft. who knows if he'd get drafted before the second round any other year

ugh what looked to be a fantastic big dance now ends for the first time ever with the all #1 seed final four. Depressing ending for a lot of upstart teams. Of the final Four i have to pull for UCLA cuz they're my pick...

All #1 seeds going to the Final Four, here I thought that 1 in sextillion chance of cinderella teams making it all the way were just a gag by the oddsmakers.

Interesting, all #1 seeds in the Final Four.
I'm a UNC fan by heart, but I have a gut feeling that Kansas will win it all.
Props to Davidson for almost beating the Jayhawks.

being from the LA area, I have to root for UCLA. plus I picked them to win it all and that would be the only way I win in the NLSC pick em group

UCLA 63 - MEMPHIS 78 (FINAL SCORE)
Ouch, tough loss for you Q.
It was practically all Memphis the whole game.
That's all I have to say..

KANSAS 54 - UNC 46 (still in progress)
Not a bad game so far.. Kansas had a 20+ point lead at one point.
But knowing UNC, they make 1 or 2 runs ever game.
Personally, I don't care who wins because I'm rooting for whoever wins this.
Most likely Kansas will still be my fave to win it all, but we'll just have to wait and see...
One thing I know for sure is, this will be better than the last game.

Interesting. I'm $10 richer..
Kansas won it all! Thank god Mario Chalmers made that shot!
I give props to Sherren Collins, he shut down Derek Rose well..
That shot by Chalmers though.. one of the biggest shots in NCAA history. :)
