The in-game function isn't available as it was in NBA Live 07. You'll need to open the players.dbf file and change it in there.

No problem. The dunk packages remain the same as last year, so here's a reference if you need it:

You have to open it with DB Commander (available to download from nba-live.com) or other DBF editor.

From there, you just need to locate the player you wish to change (searching in the NAME field is as good a method as any) then scroll across to the DUNKPACK column and change the value accordingly.

Wait a second, now. I never thought about this, but I was able to bring back the dunk package editing from 07.

I'll post a link to it in a few minutes.

Here's a mini version. It does not contain the preview animatoins because they take up about 169 mb in your sgsm directory.

Download

Here's the release thread.

Strange that none of us thought about that with all the attempts to utilise the old files. Good thinking. (Y)

One thing about it is that the default animations are different in 08/07. Unless people are using the converted 07 dunks that Jaosming converted, there is bound to be some issues. Another thing is that you can edit the Higflyer and Power packages, but I have no idea how that applies to the dunk package itself because I don't know how the game gives players different superstar packages, or if it works in 08.
