I usually play some dinasty mode with 5 o even more friends. We each take a team or two and play trough seasons, just simulating the games but making trades. It's really funny for us and we really have fun that way without playing.
We use nba 2003 since it's the last one where you can play multiplayer in dinasty mode

Now I think we'll play our next league with this new patch, although we are already playing in season 2010/2011 in our actual league :p

The question is.. is there any way to start a dinasty season begining in year 2007/2008? For us it's important for it to be that way, since starting in season 2003/2004 means rookies born in 1982 or 1983, really old since there are several players 4 or 5 years younger already in the patch.

One thing we tried was to simulate 4 years into 2007/2008 season, and then copy the players.dbf (don't remember for sure if we copied only this file) to a folder were we have the players patch, and when we started the dinasty it was year 2007. But it didn't work properly, as many player we resigned for several years appeared to be '0' (yeah, ) years left on the contract, players dissapearing from teams and strange things like that.

Other thing we did was to edit de players.dbf by substracting 4 fears from every players birth date, so as in first season 2003/2004 everywone would be aged as if it were 2007/2008 season, but we didn't found the solution very accourate.

I'm sure there must be a field in some dbf file in every roster or dinasty patch folder were you can adjust the season you're in, but we've been unable to find it, so we'll tremendously appreciaty if anyone could help us with this.

We love playing this kind of multiplayer dinasty modes, and we are desperated to find a solution for this, but it's 2 years since we are playing this mode without finding and appropiate solution. If it's not clear, what we want it's to start a dinasty mode in year 2007/2008, not in 2003/2004, cause we play through the years and if not rookies are not the age they should.

Thanks a lot again for the patch, and we'll appreciate any comment, clue or help anyone could give us with this issue.

You can try editing the schedule.dbf files and changing the year in the file.

just played one game with this. there are still missing faces with lakers and rockets. also, rockets' uniform is still the default of live 2003. anyone experiencing this too?

I guess it's the court, I noticed that also.
I think I uploaded a corrupt Pistons court and c0n put it into TRU.

I will make a new Pistons court soon, this time more accurate also.

You can try editing the schedule.dbf files and changing the year in the file.

I remember trying to do that, but i think it only affects the schedule in the game. I mean, if you change the date when you go to the schedule menu no game appears, but when you simulate games are played normally.

I'll try it again, but it didn't work last time.

2. I'm doing all star game jerseys. I done textures but i haven't done numbers yet. Please comments.

Great patch, guys, but I can't play with the Bobcats. Home and away, either. In menu everything is OK, I have the logos of the Bobcats and faces of the Bobcats players appear in view player menu. Everything seems to be ok, but until I want to play the game with them. Jerseys also show up before the game, but it always crashes while loading.

Other teams work.

I'm sure customart is enabled.

Now I'm pretty sure that conrad messed something up with the renfe files etc.
Because I haven't played with the Bocats since I installed version 2 and copied conrads files. Yesterday I wanted to play with them, and they didn't work.
I ran my fix and everything was fine as before.

Im asking conrad for the next release if he can uplad my folders.
I'm sure it'll work for yall then.

But for me Bobcats didn't work in any version of TRU.

Anyway, I'm waiting.
