messed headbands

why do my player have a messed headbands?
carmelo's headband is covering his eyes..

There's a bug in NBA Live 08 in Edit Player where the game doesn't load player headshapes (instead using the default), which distorts the appearance of player faces and causes odd behaviour with headbands. Entering the game or Practice Mode will fix the error.

If this isn't the issue you're experiencing (though it's quite common so I'd say it's likely), then the problem is still likely headshape related, eg. a custom headshape patch for Carmelo Anthony.

sir andrew you mean that i will just ignore it and it will go back to normal if i play my game? i want to edit the players before entering dynasty, when i was about to edit ben wallace, melo, ai, and others their headbands doesnt show correctly..im using alby's roster..

It only occurs in Edit Player fortunately. The correct headshapes will still be used during gameplay.
