seeing this made me reinstall 05 good shit fellas i only have one problem there are no numbers on the back of the uni's and they are above the team name on the front. ive done it twice now and still the same thing. any idea what i may be doing wrong or if im am missing something.?

You need DaNet's 2x jersey patch (fourth part, dump all the .vivs in the uniform folder to your own.)

But it is a "suits me"-update, not a perfect one. Didn't edit the numbers for example.

I'm working on a conversion of Albys' RealRosterV3. Got the ratings working, but the appearance file is still messed up. I still need permission as well.

UPDATE: I've gotten the appearance.dbf in sync with the players.dbf, but there's a strange problem which doesn't let me add the last 400 or so players in the database. It stops at Kirk Hinrich with record 913 or something like that. I try to add anything else, it doesn't work (i.e., I close and when I reopen, the records are gone.) I think it's because I'm using Excel, which does weird stuff (although it was handling fine previously). My DB commander just expired and I can't transfer any more records.

This version of DB Commander still expires but only locks a few features. Basic, manual editing functions remain unlocked. I'd certainly recommend DB Commander or DBF Viewer Pro to MS Excel.

How bout OpenOffice?

jonthefon, could you PM me the arenas~cl_arena file from the TNT mod? cause i DLed the arena portrait from Dahl and the file is different so it comes out incorrect and need the one from Vinz's mod to replace it, thanks

I installed 4.5 and 5.0. But LeBron wear a adidas shoes. ^_^;;;

Run the accurate.bat included in the Real Shoes patch, it should auto-correct all the player shoes. Maybe manually change LeBron's shoes too.

Only one question: when I play in Dynasty mode, the overall ratings are modified (they're lower, to be exact) from what I see in the other modes.
Is it due to the conversion of the db? Is there any solution to avoid this?

Various functions, such as editing players or players being traded recalculates the overall rating. Differences between NBA Live 07 and NBA Live 2005 will result in some undesirable results when that happens. The only real solution would be to adjust ratings after the conversion so that they're more appropriate for NBA Live 2005.
