Yeah, badass.

He's also one of only three persons known to carry around kryptonite all the time.
The other two are Superman villains Lex Luthor and Metallo. I'm not sure if Luthor still carries one around since he had a sickness because of it.

So are you failing the class with the 3/10 grade? Or do you only fail when getting a 1/10 grade? I'm curious, because I think we got the same style of grading in High Schools over here too .

Yeah, anything under 6/10 (60-65%) is failing. It's a ten-based grading system, I think it's around all over Europe (except Germany and Austria).

The maximum grade is 10, although 99% of the teachers don't ever award it. The minimum passing grade is 6, while the minimum grade you could ever get is a 1, but it's only awarded when a student was absent, refuses to take a test or hands a completely blank test to the teacher. If the student writes his name on the test the minimum grade will be a 2.

Oral exams (speaking tests) are slightly different, though. The maximum grade is an 8 (some teachers may award a 9 if the student's average is an 8 and if the student has shown to have always surpassed the minimum requirements of the tests during the year), while the minimum is a 3, with the exception for students that refuse to take the test. In that case, a 2 will be awarded.

If you fail a class with a 5+ average, depending on the teacher, the grade will be upgraded to a 6. If the average is lower than 5, you'll be required to take an exam before school starts in September. If you fail the exam, you'll have to repeat the grade.

If you fail more than two classes or two classes with a 4- average, you'll have to repeat the grade without even taking any exams.

Damn, I have too much time on my hands.

While playing Playstation, my index finger on my left hand becomes totally cold. As if there is no blood flowing to it. It just feels like ice.

Yea, same here. Totally cold when playing on a gamepad.

I sprain my ancle once or twice a year.

Biting my nails of course, but mostly biting off those little leftovers of my skin around the nail (hope you know what I mean).

I don't make my bed.

I hate putting on my glasses in the morning (especially after waking up).

When eating at the pc, the dishes sometimes stay on the desks for days.

I got better in school since last year.

When taking a shit and I know it's going to take some time, I use to take off my glasses.

I don't read on the toilet.

When I know I'll stay at home, I don't wear underwear. :?

I hate it when my Desktop is messed up, a clean Desktop feels good.

I also often edit my posts after I posted it.

My status on MSN is often set to 'appear offline'.

Just noticing, when typing, my hands get cold, but I usually have quite warm hands.

NBA Live 2003 is the most played Live game on my PC.

Thats what I thought. Its the same as here. Its stupid. Having multiple grades for the same thing? It doesn't really matter if you get a 1 or a 5. You're still gonna fail it. Its a good tool to rack up the differences between students that want to get in a university, but its not that good when it comes to general grading. The A to F system is way better in my opinion when it comes to general grading. The student can fail at a subject and get a negative mark for it, but its good enough to rack the differences between two students. In my opinion they should do something new and change it completely . We both live in the EU. It would be good to see some changes to the schooling program.

Well I should go back to the chemistry book. Its a bitch to learn. I'll post some more inane facts about myself later. (Y).

^Well, the grading system isn't the same all around Europe: Germany and Austria as well as Great Britain have a five-based grading system. I think Ireland and Scandinavia have it too.

It's just here in Southern Europe (i.e Spain, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, etc.) that things suck.

They actually proposed a five-based grading system back in 2004 but it was refused by many left-wing politicians who justified themselves by bitching about how bad education is in the US and how adopting a five-based grading system could lead to the same outcome here in Italy. Truth is, they're just a bunch of communist bastards.

Sometimes I wonder if they actually listen to themselves when they talk. I mean we have a 3% illiteracy rate among people aged 18-50, and a quarter of the other 97% don't have a high school diploma. None of our universities are in the top 100 universities in the world, while US universities make up a good 60% of that list. And yet, we still worry about other countries' education instead of worrying about ours.

Did I mention I hate this country with all my heart?

Inane facts, okay, inane facts:

- I never wore a tucked-in shirt until a week ago.

- When I get really nervous or when I have a really bad headache I sometimes grab my hair, scratch my face or bang my head against a wall or desk repeatedly.

- I scratch my balls while watching TV on the couch. It's particularly relaxing after a very stressing day.

- I never wear shirts without a t-shirt underneath. And I never wear sweaters without a shirt underneath.

- I like sweater vests and sport coats and I wear them from time to time. (I am prepared for the consequences of me telling you this fact).

- I have myopia but I don't wear my glasses unless I really have to.

- I don't like black chocolate or chocolate ice cream. It's not sweet enough.

I'll post more later.

Holland uses a 1 to 10 grading system and we have some of the best universities you could ask for. So yeah, it's not really the grading system. It's the stupidity of people I'd say.

-I have these Timberwolves boxers I wear every Friday. Friday is Wolves boxer day.

-I always tighten my shoes so they are really tight around my foot. I don't like my feet to move around in my shoe.

-My left thumb was double jointed but I didn't "exercise" this skill enough and now it is not.

-I have a habit of dropping things. I drop my cellphone daily. I drop my iPod. I drop my books. If I carry it, I drop it. It's why I can't have expensive stuff.

-I like to have an even number in my Savings account. So if I have $600.45 in my account I shift the $.45 to my checking account just to make it an even amount.

-I can't cook and even if I could, I'd be too lazy to do it. I spend more money on food than anything else probably.

-I charge my phone for the 5-10 minutes I use to get ready for bed. I use my phone as my alarm clock so I need it fully charged for that and I have no outlet by my bed.

I really don't have anything else I can think of. I'm a rather normal person (compared to you guys) so I'm starting to feel more confident about myself.

Some more...

I have a necklace that was bought for me when I was 14, in the last 8 years I've taken it off once.

I've somehow exposed a loophole in the electricity billing system that has meant I've not had to pay a single bill for over a year.

I don't like washing up glasses so I never use them, I drink out of re-used water bottles and such, at one point I had a party and I couldn't be bothered washing all the glasses so I threw them out

There are currently 9 empty beer bottles in my back yard from last weekend that I have to get rid of.

I have a home gym set up in my spare room that cost over $1,400 but my favourite things to use are a $50 pair of free weights I bought at a sports shop.

When I was growing up I'd get 4 new pairs of shoes per year (i.e the Shaq Reebok ones, Larry Johnson's, Charles Barkley etc) now I'm a size 17 and can't remember the last time I bought some.

I'm really good at imitating the voices of people I hate. If I hate something or someone I can imitate their voice almost perfectly, not sure how this works.

When I talk to someone on the phone pretty much the first thing I say every time is "what's goin on?"... even when I decide not to say it it still comes out.

My neighbours are Lebs who listen to outdated music (typing this as one of them drives down the road listening to Country Grammar by Nelly)

Well basically when I moved in I got an electricity bill addressed to my house but the name of the person was something completely different. Then one day this little Indian guy shows up saying if I sign up with his company I'll be paying 40% less etc, so I signed up and figured it'd just be switched over. I keep getting bills addressed to this random person, but never once got one from the new company I signed up to. So essentially in the last 13 months I've never paid a bill, the power hasn't been cut off and I haven't heard from the other company since March last year.
