Shattering glas leads to Suspension in the NBA Once if i remember Correctly Darryl Dawkins A.K.A. Chocolate Thunda(er) (I say thunda cause i'm ghetto ) Broke the Rim in Kansas City playing the Royals at Kemper Arena the glass shattered and everyone cleared the court and i think the game ended besides the NBA would put a NO to Shattering Glass in their games just ask Midway they tried putting Shattering Glass in NBA Hangtime but the NBA said it would harm them i don't know if this follows for College Basketball cause i broke the Backboard once with the North Carolina Tar Heels and my favorite quote from Dick Vitale was:

"OH! Thats it Baby! Your gonna see this on the 11 O' Clock News Baby!"

Breaking the glass... Guess why NBA has a big no-no on the hanging from the rim after a dunk? I don't think you would get suspended unless you were just hanging on the rim after a fast break dunk with no one around. But if you hung from the rim in the middle of traffic I don't think anything would be called...

Dawkins broke the glass twice in games, and once in practice (so he could get out of practice).

The NBA changed the rims to prevent it (It'd be sweat with a code, though)
