team colors. so i'm playing around and working through my project, at the lest the first part of it and making grate strides on improved uniforms for the game 08. i'm playing around with the fiba part of the game and noticed something. Italy. Italy national colors are green red and white, but in game there colors are more that of Greece and arg. colors, what gives. is the real Italy the colors used in the game. everybody else in the game for the fiba part seema to be using the national colors, anyone know about this or what the reason for this is. ty

You have to change it in the teamgear.dbf in your saves folder

i think you miss the question. and teramgear as nothing to do with uniform color changes, for what i'm talking about if the question where being read that way. what i'm saying is i was playing around in fiba part of the game, and the national team of italy uniforms look like the other two countries (in color slightly) i said before, but there national colors are what i said, so what i am asking is the are uniforms for italy right. is that acutlly what they play with or is it there national colors or vary close to it. italy's are even close to thee national colors, as the others play in there real national colors from what i've seen. anyone know what the deal is with them.

Yes, Italy's uniform color is blue, it is the same as their national soccer team's shirts (the national soccer team is nicknamed "azzuri" or blues), however i have no clue as to the reason why those are the colors as opposed to red, white and green.

ty toaster. at least it explains it a little but, but its odd wouldn't you say. i wasnt aware they also used blue for there soccer to the usa sports world, football uniforms. there right to do so of course, but its odd to me. thanks for the answer.

As Toaster said, it's supposed to be blue. Most of the Italian national teams use that blue in their uniforms.

And from what I've gathered, it was from before Italy became a republic. The royal family had that kind of blue colour (azzurro) in their flag. It has since then been adopted by many of the sports teams to honour the tradition. At least that's what I've heard..

i wasnt saying is inst blue, i just different from other countires and was wondering about, but i do like knowing the history and reason for i, ty i dont enough about italy, so i was wondering why the blue. i wanst trying to say it wrong, just seemd odd and without knowing the reason it would be, but makes since now. ty
