game crashes: HELP

i have a problem with my game. when im into middle of the game, when a team calls a time out. it crashes. it says it has a problem with nba.exe, it there any patch that i have to get to run this game properly. is there anybody can help me. PLLLLLEEEEAAAASSSSEE. Thanks for your help.

I thought they said even people with a legit copy were having this problem. Or was that false and it really only happens to people who downloaded it? (illegally)

yeah...u should just buy the game...first I downloaded it then It kept crashing so i just bought it..

The early reports mostly seemed to be people who had a pirated version but it also happens if someone has installed a legit copy but it using a No-CD hack. So far it doesn't seem to have happened to anyone with a legit copy who's using the DVD, unless there's been some other problem such as a problematic community made patch or a hardware conflict.
