Unless we're specifically talking about rising stars who aren't quite there yet and just talking about the guys who will be the stars of the next decade, players I'd consider the future of the league would include the likes of LeBron, Melo, Wade and Bosh over some of the players mentioned. They've been around for a few years now but they have quite a few years ahead of them as star players in the league.

If we're just talking about players who are on the rise and could be stars of the future then those are some good picks, though it could be argued that Dwight Howard has already moved beyond that with the way he's playing.

1. Rudy Gay
2. Mike Conley
3. LaMarcus Aldridge
4. Al Horford
5. Andrew Bynum

The Future:

F LeBron James
F Kevin Durant
C Dwight Howard
G Brandon Roy
G Chris Paul

Stars also on the Rise

Carmelo Anthony
Dwyane Wade
Rudy Gay
Deron Williams
Danny Granger
Chris Bosh
Monta Ellis
Andrew Bynum
Andrew Bogut
LaMarcus Aldridge
Yi Jianlian
Al Horford
Jose Calderon
Rajon Rondo
Emeka Okafor
Randy Foye
Kevin Martin

I think there will come a time when all these players make the all-star team together, more than half of these IMO will become superstars, barring injuries of course.

Melo, Wade and Bosh don't really belong on that list in my opinion, since they're already established stars in the league, even if they do have many more years ahead of them and potentially many more accomplishments as well.

G-Chris Paul
G-Rajon Rondo :D
C-Al Jefferson
F- Josh Howard

Deron Williams
Luther Head (T mac eventually is gonna have to admit he's injured too much for an NBA career)
Greg Oden if he ever gets healthy
Kevin Durant
Kevin Martin

the first 2 are biased, but the other 3 i expected nothing from and they keep impressing me...
