Wild party leads to child porn charges

A 16-YEAR-OLD youth has been charged with producing child pornography in relation to a wild Melbourne party at the weekend.

Police said the boy has been bailed to appear at a children's court on 22 February. Another 16-year-old was also interviewed by detectives.

A brief is to be prepared in relation to the other boy. The two boys were taken into custody by police this morning and interviewed.

The party on Saturday night attracted at least 500 revellers.

Up to 30 police officers, a helicopter and the dog squad were called to the party, while police cars and neighbours' property were damaged.
