Most webmasters of large gaming communities get games early dont they?

Well andrew since you're a PC user, you'll prob be getting the pc version sooner than all of us, so without getting into extended details, a review of how patch-friendly the game is would be highly appreciated by the whole community...

Mostly dbf editing, since thats your specialty. But taking a quick look at the viv's and fsh's wouldnt hurt either, maybe even a try-out patch by yourself along with the info that is needed (img size, quality, a quick test , maybe get us making patches b4 we even get the game...

)

When ANYONE gets an early copy of the PCgame-that assures me that the release is next to come--and very soon--I hope. :lol:

I went to Future Shop to check out if they had the Logitech Dual Action controller, and for fun, I asked when Live 2004 was coming out for the PC. The lady showed me a chart of upcoming releases and it said "NBA Live 2004 (PC)" on October 13th (tomorrow). This is very unlikely, of course. I called Best Buy today to see how they compare, and the guy said he *thinks* October 17th. Hmm..

I dunno if this has been mentioned or not but i saw a commercial on tv yesterday which said it would be released october 16th.

Not gonna be that early, i'd assume either late october or early november on pc.

That is just so incredibly dissapointing

Looks like EA is slowly letting go of PC games....I bet some day they'll stop producing for PC since console games are pirated much less and are easier to produce. Darn

If only they could have said that earlier...same as with fifa 2004, nhl 2004, madden 2004....they kept us looking at that countdown timer and the week before the release they suddenly move the release dates for PC up weeks.

I know for sure that they knew this months ago, cause it's not about suddenly running into problems with the PC version. It's probably only a matter of getting the EASO servers tested with that 'community leader' test program.

Very dissapointing, like they think "Oh they'll wait anyway, no matter what we do".

That is a great point. I just want the game out before the season gets too far underway.

I can't agree more. I still wonder why they haven't changed that timer thing and informed us about PC-version delays.

Maybe it's a marketing strategy. Maybe they don't think website counter doesn't mean much anyway. :evil:
