Hornets hire new staff
New assistants, scout and trainer in the team
Today, the New Orleans Hornets hired a completely new staff for the upcoming 2007/2008 NBA season.
Franjo Starcevic (3-year, 1.02M deal, assistant head coach), Victor Pereira (2-year, 661K deal, scout), Antoine Archibald (2-year, 702K deal, trainer) and Jermaine Price (1-year, 930K deal, assistant) will all be joining the Hornets staff very soon.

NEW ORLEANS, Oct. 31 (AP) -- Chris Paul and the rest of the Hornets' starting five got their team's full-time return to New Orleans off to a promising start.
Paul had 22 points and 7 assists, earning Player Of The Game honors, while Peja Stojakovic showed some of his old All-Star form with 14 points to help the Hornets beat the Sacramento Kings 132-107 on Wednesday night.
Newly acquired shooting guard Morris Peterson chipped in with 15, including three 3-pointers.
"People has been criticizing us and pulling us down recently," Peterson said. "But I believe in the team and I think we can make a really good season.''
Ron Artest led the Kings with 29 points, while Brad Miller scored 22, Kevin Martin 19 and Mike Bibby 16.

NEW ORLEANS, Nov. 2 (AP) -- Peja Stojakovic chipped in 25 points for the Hornets but it wasn't enough to beat the Blazers.
Portland point guard Steve Blake led the way with 32 points and 7 assists for Nate McMillan's team, who won 126-118. Brandon Roy and Greg Oden added 18 and 17, respectively.
"This is the start of a new season. I'm just feeling good mentally, physically and having fun playing basketball with my new teammates and coaching staff,'' Oden said. "This is a fun system to play in.''

Thanks man, yes, it was a lot of work! I wanted to do something special because, as you know, all my other dynasties got screwed...
Next week's gonna be tough, exactly... Nuggets, Lakers, Spurs and a rematch against Blazers!
