DAMN they're SOO lazy they just put a real video in the menus, rather than spending some time animating it.

You would rather have them put crappy in-game videos rather than real ones? They have already gone to that low with the intro video the past few years.

One big problem with the game is that in-game videos, real NBA players, authentic looking shoes, and other extras have become more important than the real game. EA spends all the time on the icing, sells the game on the icing, without spending any time on the cake.

Another "new" feature is "intervention." But that was around in Live 2005.

NBA Live 2005 is a very good game. Major changes in '06, '07, and '08 included lots of broken features, and adding so many animations that the game becomes impossible to play. The player became less and less in control.

I'm one of the hardcore Live fans who switched to 2K7 last year because the game just really sucked. This year I gave my PS2 to my nephews and i'm glad that EA is still coming up with a basketball game for PC so people like me have another option. Do you guys know why there isn't any other basketball game that's available on PC? I don't, maybe it's the difficulty in developing it or whatever. If you don't like the game then return it, don't speak ill of the people who created and continue to come up with a game that some of us actually enjoys, even with the bugs.

Not to be off-topic and Anglo-centric, but you guys really need to clean up your grammar. I've noticed a huge influx of horrible grammar stemming from tech reviews of products to forums and it's severely affecting everyone. We're all getting "dumbed-down" by reading these posts; what the hell are our public schools teaching - diversity and acceptance??? How about English, Math, and Science for a change?

I just got a ps3 and bought NBA 2k8 and the result!!!! PS3 + NBA 2k8 = never spend over an hour sitting infront of the computer any longer
