Halo anyone?

Postby bishibashiboy on Mon Oct 06, 2003 2:20 pm

Just wondering if anybody bought the PC version of Halo.
I never really played it too much on the x-box because I couldn't stand the controller.
Now with the mouse and keyboard I think the game is quite good.

The game is pretty poorly optimized though. Anybody got tips or suggestions or just comments about the game?

Oh well, give it a try ppl. It's a good game, despite the fact it runs like shit on most computers. :)

Well, I think people should give it a try. It was good on the x-box, but it was really dying for a mouse/keyboard control.

Hey Tech9_KB8, what's your system like?

Well even though it runs pretty bad, it's still a good game.
Besides, this is the trend most new games will be: slow on dx8.1 cards. The thing about halo is everything is bump-mapped and they use some dx9 features. It's not really that ugly of a game.
