Players review

Kurt Thomas-Nice post man,but little slow, can make jumpshots
Chris Wilcox - Very strong, very fast for this kind of player, great dunker and rebounder, have great dribbling ability. Not accurate, can't make jumpshots
Kevin Durant- Number 2 pick of 2007 draft, great former Texas University player, have a lot of potencial to become one of few best NBA players.Geat shoter from midd-range,very strong, nice shot blocker.Need to improve 3 point shoting, speed, and defending
Jeff Green- Number 5 pick in NBA draft by Boston, traded to Seattle.Fast, can play in PF,SF,SG positions, nice defender, shot blocker, dunker.Need to work on shoting, rebounding.
Luke Ridnour -Fast pg,great passer,nice shoter.Need to improve defending,stealing
Delonte West-Fast,can shot 3 poinetrs,nice midd-range shoter,great stealer.
Robert Swift-Fast for C position, can play one games and have 20pts,but in next just 2 pts, need to improve blocking
Wally Szczerbiak -Bigest disappointment of the season start.Must be a great shoter, but he can't hit 3 pointers,midd-range jumpers.Gave his starting spot to Jeff Green.Searching team to trade him.
Damien Wilkins-Fast and strong, this are his only adavantage, poor shoter, defender. But he might become avarage player
Nick Collinson -Fast,strong,great shoter. Not playing that much couse C.Willcox is in great form.Have potential
Earl Wtson-Nice 3point shoter,but nothing more
Michael Gelabale-"France sensation" is not that good in NBA,In near future should sign with Euroleague top teams and play in Europe, but for now he is Sonics property and he will be warming team's bench.

Durant VS Kobe

Before Lakers ant Sonics match,Sonics rookie and leader Kevin Durant was questioned by the local radio

[J.C]Kevin, you will be playing against one of the best players ever-Mr 81, Kobe Bryant how do you feel?

[K.D] I am very happy that I will play against Kobe,he was one of my favorite players when I was child

[J.C]Your 3 pts percentage in NBA is not that high as it was in NCAA,What happened?

[K.D] This is NBA,your 're playing against best defenders in the world, preasure is hudge, but I think that in couple of months I 'll be shoting much better,I have to shot better if we want to play in playoffs

[J.C]And the last question.Sonics is losing, what should you do to turn things around ant start wining?

[K.D] I think that this will change,we're very young team,in previous season 3 of five starters were playing in different teams,Fans should support us and wait and the victories will come to Seattle

Thank you for interview, that was Jon Carnye and Kevin Durant. See you soon,Bye

Lakers crushed Seattle by 38 points

Seattle(4-11) lost to Lakers(6-9) 83-121 .This was worst defeat in this season.Seattle was battleing with LA just in 1st quarter, after that Lakers came up with 12 to nothing run and simply retain it's lead.K.Durant had one of the worst performance in his carrier shooting 7/26 from the field and scoring 14 points.Kobe Bryant was unstoppable, scoring 51 point 22/29 FGM-A 6/8 3PM-A. He was jordan player of the game.J.Crittenton made 13 ast.

Welcome Magic!

Former Seattle Super Sonics small forward R.Lewis is back! But now with Orlando Magic. There will be a very interesting match up between new Sonics leader K.Durant and former Sonic-R.Lewis.At the Center position K.Thomas will be playing against powerful young talent D.Howord.Sonics also should pay attention to J.Neloson who is very fast player with great passing skills.

Jeff Green on spotlight

Image

Green, who played center in high school, is confident he can fill in at the two, three or four in the pros.

If you're a Sonics fan that just had to suffer through a 31-51 season a year ago and see your team's two true superstars, Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis, settle on the East Coast, you might be tempted to pop NBA Jam into your Super Nintendo and re-live the Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp glory days instead of rooting for a bunch of unproven pups next season.

While I'd never suggest you stop playing NBA Jam, I do think that you would be missing out on some excellent real-life action if you write off Seattle's squad.

Nobody wants their team to have to go through a rebuilding process, but if it has to happen, why not have it happen in a year when your team lands two of the top five picks in a draft that is considered to be one of the four or five deepest in league history?

The Sonics took Kevin Durant with the No. 2 spot and traded for Jeff Green, who the Celtics nabbed at No. 5.

Green might not have the "ceiling" factor that his fellow lottery picks do, but that's only because he's already shown what he can do. He's a proven commodity after scoring in double figures all three seasons he played in the rough-and-tumble Big East Conference and leading Georgetown to the Final Four in April.

The 6-9 forward, celebrated for his balance of unselfish play coupled with calling his own number in the clutch while in college, averaged 14.6 points and 5.6 rebounds per game in five summer league games and improved from seven points and one rebound in his debut to 32 points and 13 boards in his last game in Las Vegas.

I sat down with Green at the Rookie Photo Shoot in Tarrytown, NY and here's what we talked about:

NBA.com: How did you playing the three and Kevin Durant playing the two work out in summer league?
Jeff Green: I think it worked out pretty good. I think it was hard for teams to figure out who they were going to put on who and we exploited the match-ups. So I think it worked out pretty good.

NBA.com: How much better has your game become since you played your last college game in the Final Four?
Jeff Green: A lot better, man.

NBA.com: What about your game has improved?
Jeff Green: My dribbling, shooting, being able to get to the cup and finish stronger … Especially just having the freedom to do whatever after playing at Georgetown with the Princeton offense, that kind of limited me in a lot of things.

NBA.com: I thought I heard you say before the draft that you played center in high school. Did that help you overall as a player?
Jeff Green: I think it did. I added to my low-post game by being able to take guys off the dribble and I can still back them down and try to score deep under the basket. It’s helped me be able to play both inside and out.

NBA.com: What’s been your biggest challenge since being with the Sonics?
Jeff Green: Getting used to West Coast time. I’ve been on the East Coast all my life, and having that three hours back, I mean, I’m tired at 10 o’clock. That’s probably the toughest thing so far.

NBA.com: How would you describe your relationship with Kevin?
Jeff Green: I think it’s grown up a lot from the beginning of the summer when it first started. We knew each other coming into the position we’re in right now, but I think over time our relationship grew a lot.

Another lost,now to Orlando

Image

Sonics lost tonight's game to Orlando Magic at home.It was not easy match for Magic, but they was in the lead all the time.Everithing was fine, but Sonics lost 2nd quarter 32-14.But in the 3rd quarter Sonics started to play faster and they won it 28-16.In the 4th quarter Magic proved that they was better team this evening wining the games 75-98.Seattle stoped D.Howard but R.Lewis and J.Nelson were unstoppable, they both scored 50 points. It was second straight lost.

Orlando: J.Nelson 27pts,4ast,4stl,8to;R.Lewis 23pts,5ast;D.Howard 14pts;15reb,3blk

Seattle:C.Willcox 18pts,11reb,2blk;K.Durant 17pts,(8-27 FG)4ast,4reb,4blk;

Will G.Payton return to Seattle?

Image

A big rumour is going around about Free agent G.Payton's deal with Seattle Super Sonics. Is this true? Only Gary and Sonics general manager could answer this. Now we all have to wait next week and than we'll know the real answer. I would like to remind about Gary Dwayne Payton aka "The Glove".

Gary Payton was born July 23, 1968 in Oakland, California. He played his high school basketball Skyline High School along with former NBA player Greg Foster, before attending Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon.

Throughout his four-year career at OSU, he became one of the most decorated basketball players in OSU history. During his senior year, Payton was featured on the March 5, 1990 cover of Sports Illustrated magazine as the nation's best college basketball player.

Payton was the second overall pick in the 1990 NBA Draft by the Seattle SuperSonics, and spent his first 12½ seasons with the Sonics. He was true Seattle leader along side with stars like S.Kemp,D.Manning in 1996 reached NBA finals but lost to Jordan's Chichago Bulls. He was selected All-NBA First-Team in 1998 and 2000, All-NBA Second Team in 1995, 1996, 1997, 1999, and 2002, and All-NBA Third Team in 1994 and 2001. He was selected to the NBA All-Defensive First Team a record nine consecutive seasons (1994–2002), and won the NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award in 1996, the first guard to have won the award in 8 years. He has been selected to the NBA All-Star Team nine times and was voted as a starter in 1997 and 1998. He was a member of the gold medal-winning 1996 and 2000 U.S. Men's Olympic Basketball Teams.

In the middle of the 2002-03 season at the trade deadline, Payton was sent to the Milwaukee Bucks in a five-player deal that sent Ray Allen to Seattle. Payton played the remaining 28 games with the Bucks.

As an unrestricted free agent prior to the 2003-04 season, Payton, along with Karl Malone, signed with the Los Angeles Lakers to make a run at the NBA Championship. According to his agent, he turned down a $35 million contract with the Portland Trail Blazers to sign with the Lakers for the mid-level exception.

Prior to the 2004-05 season, the Lakers traded Payton and Rick Fox to the Boston Celtics for center Chris Mihm, small forward Jumaine Jones and point guard Chucky Atkins. While Payton expressed displeasure with the trade, he ultimately did report to Boston and began the 2004-05 season as the Celtics' starting point guard.

On February 24, 2005 Payton was traded to the Atlanta Hawks in a deal that brought former Celtic Antoine Walker back to Boston. The Hawks then waived Payton immediately following the trade, and he returned a week later to Boston as a free agent. Payton started all 77 games he played for the Celtics and they won the Atlantic Division before losing in the first round to the Indiana Pacers.

On September 22, 2005, he signed a one-year $1.1 million contract with Miami, reuniting with Walker (who was acquired seven weeks earlier by the Heat), as well as former Lakers' teammate Shaquille O'Neal. Payton finally won his first NBA Championship in his sixteenth season in the league when, on June 20, 2006, the Heat defeated the Dallas Mavericks in game six of the 2006 NBA Finals for a four to two series victory. Payton hit two crucial shots in that series: a game-winning shot in game three that ignited the Heat's comeback in the series (after being down 0-2) and, in game five, the Heat's final field goal in a one-point victory.

Gary Payton want's to end his carrier in Seattle, this should be his final spot.

Wainting for you Gary!!!!!

Hmm.. you clearly are putting a lot of time into this, so thats good. I have a couple suggestions though.

1) One break up the text above so its not just one HUGE block, it'll make it more appealing to read and look nicer.

2) Give us a schedule or something, because I have no idea whether the games your playing are being playing whenever you want or are part of your schedule.

3) Also comment in other people's dynasties and then people will usually return the favor.

i agree with Chaser7, you should give us a schedule and do something with the text cause it's hard to read right now. but otherwise good dynasty.

December start's with another huge lost

Seattle Supersonics 86 - 103 LA Clippers

Image
E.Watson couldn't find his game while C.Wilcox was doing what he does best

Lost after lost,it's now 4 in the row and now, huge lost to Clippers at home,Key Arena. It was even match till the third quarter when E.Brand scored 17 points and Seattle left behind after 12 to nothing run.Durant was struggling from 3 point line 0/4.L.Ridnour had awful preformance with 4 pts and 4 to.Team didn't play as they should. There is only one great news for Sonics fan's that Wally Szczerbiak finaly starting to feal his game.He scored 25 pionts 11/19 FGM/A.
Awful start of the season for Sonics, but I see bright light in the tunnel's exit.Sonics freshman's K.Durant and J.Green day after day 're learning how to play in NBA.So be more patient and the result will be visible ,if not in this year,so in next.

Clippers: E.Brand 35 pts,10reb;C.Mobley 20pts,10ast;
C.Maggette 19 pts,3reb

Seattle Sonics: W.Szczerbiak 25pts,3 ast;K.Durant 21pts,5 reb;C.Wilcox 15 pts, 8 reb,2block

LOL when I said comment in other peoples dynasty so that you will get a response I didn't mean bump a month old dynasty that hadn't been active for that time. hahaha

Anyways, your recaps still need work. Sometimes you forget to add spaces and such. Also It still looks like one block of ugly txt.. keep trying tho... (Y)
