Kobe kills.
ENGLAND! Knight Kobe Bryant hes a fearless player. He scored a key 38 points
tonight. Dished out a very important 8 assists. And grabbed 9 rebounds. Very
close to a triple double performance by Mr. Laker. He also shot a impressive
5-7 from down town.

Durant is damn good.
Kevin Durant the #2 pick in this years draft drafted to Seattle went off tonight
if he keeps up this pace he will have no problems bring the hardware home
with him come the end of the season , rookie of the year that is. He scored
22 points dished out 4 assists and grabbed 6 rebounds. But that could not quite
make up for the rest of Seattle's short comings.

Crawford still improving.
Crawford didn't have too shabby of a game. Scoring 17 points dishing out 4
assists grabbing 1 board and getting 2 steals. He did hold Earl Watson to 5-14
from the field and Luke Ridnour 1-3. He's playing better D this year then ever
in his career.

Chris is Clutch
It seems to us all this season that when Seattle was playing bad Chris Wilcox
steps up his game. Like he did tonight. Pinning in a double-double with 20 points
and 11 rebounds. He also put in 2 assists.

The Los Angeles Lakers improve to 3-0 on the season.
They play Seattle again Sunday night.

Bryant Odom and Bynum
Bryant Odom and Bynum tonight combined for 65 points. Kobe scored 24, shooting
9-19/3-8/3-8, a poor shooting performance but it got the job done. Odom scored
24, shooting 10-16/2-4/2-2, a great shooting performance that earned him the
Jordan Player of the Game Award. Bynum scored 17 points, shooting 7-15.

Durant scores 25.
Durant went out tonight and did even better then the last game. He scored 25
points, grabbed 9 rebounds, and dished out 2 assists and gathering 2 steals.

Crawford ice cold.
Crawford has been on a sharp decline these past few games offensively. Going
from 22 points and 17 assists to now a season-low 6 points 3 rebounds 3 asists
and one steal. He shot 2-11/0-6/2-5. Will LA move him for a more qualified
player to manage this team?

Bynum's Game
This guy has done nothing but impress in every single game. Tonight he easily
scored 17 points and grabbed 9 boards. The more impressive thing is how hard
he tries to get his fellow team mates involved and its evident in his 4 assists
tonight. He also got 2 steals and 1 block.

Lakers starting lineup.
Crawford,Bryant,Odom,Williams,Bynum combined for 98 points. Which happens
to be more then what the entire Minnesota team scored. Their starting lineup
scored 65. 33 points less.

Foye goes big
Minny wasn't a failure tonight. Yes they did loose. But at least they lost having
more confidence in Randy Foye. Who lit up Jamal Crawford for a Minnesota
high 31 points.

Kobe Bryant shines.
34 points. 9 assists. 6 rebounds. 2 steals. 1 block. As each night goes by and
each game goes played, Kobe proves more and more he's not a me first player.
Tonight he got a season high 9 assists on only 1 turnover.

McCants chokes up
Only scoring 2 points in the game. Shooting 0-5. A lousy performance for him
if Minnesota expects to win any games, McCants has to step up and perform
better.

LA Lakers get their PG

Due to inconsistent offensive play the Los Angeles Lakers made a decision to
trade combo guard Jamal Crawford. One of their big needs is a true playmaker
point guard. The Lakers expressed direct interest in the Orlando Magic's starting
point guard, Jameer Nelson. The Orlando Magic had a big hole at shooting guard
a position Jamal Crawford can fill easily. Orlando still have Bogans, Arroyo,
and Dooling to run the point. Orlando Magic also gave 5 million in cash on the trade.

Trade Grade: B+, it seems that Orlando gave up too much to fill their SG need.
But only time will tell. Crawford could be a great fit in Orlando where he will
be in a young improving but still good system under a great coach and he'll
have Dwight Howard to help him.

Interesting trade.
You really need to stop though, your chemistry is going to be bad for a bit (until the players settle down), and especially since you sim so much, you won't get the results you want.

Sat Nov 24, 2007 7:15 am

Chaser7,
That's what I would think.
But actually my team chemistry went up after this one.
I guess the Lakers hated Crawford?
:D
Plus I'll be playing 3 games back 2 back :)

Bynum is real real happy

Well, especially with an impending Kobe trade, you are going a bit overboard on the roster movement. Nelson is an excellent pickup though, and you are the definite winner of the trade.

Sat Nov 24, 2007 8:02 am

Lamrock93,
Kobe ain't leaving. But he might be seeing more time on the bench.
He's no longer as important as he once was. But he's still important. I'm trying to limit trades involving the original Lakers players. Eh the goal is the Championship. Yeah its not realistic with the original Lakers squad but it is realistic if the right trades are pulled. I plan on doing 2-3 seasons with the Lakers then moving onto a NY Knicks Dynasty which will be one of the most difficult rebuilding efforts plausible.

Jones breaks franchise record in debut.

Image Lakers 130 - Trailblazers 104 Image
* Click on Team Names for Box scores. PLAYED

Dahntay Jones
What record did he break? Well he had everyone in the arena screaming Dahntay Dahntay! He started off with a amazing 27 points in the first half. But it didn't come close to stopping there. He dominated whatever and whoever Portland threw at him. He finished the game with a Laker's franchise record setting and game-high 83 points.

Luke Walton
Luke Walton shines the brightest when his good friend Dahntay is next to him. Luke scored a very key 12 points, and dished out 3 assists. When he was open and got the ball he did his thing with consistency. He still needs to improve on his shot selection and separation though.

Blake shocks Portland
Steve Blake had a Gilbert Arenas night tonight. He scored 19 points in the first half. It didn't stop there he kept dominating and dominating Jameer Nelson who made his debut tonight after being traded to LA from Orlando for Jamal Crawford. Steve Blake finished the game with a Portland high 45 points.

Oden injured?
Dahntay went up for a ferocious dunk and came down with ease, but Greg Oden did not. Aldridge came onto the court to help his team mate. Oden sat out the rest of the game. I will update you guys on this.

The Lakers are now on a amazing 6 game winning streak. 6-0.

Dahntay Jones 83 Points? You're gay.

Sat Nov 24, 2007 9:34 am

Lamrock93,
its a video game damn i had fun. no need to call me gay thats inappropriate.
i could do even worse and go score 100 with James White. its a video game i have fun if i had to maintain realism all the time i wouldnt buy NBA Live id go actually try to play in the NBA haha

YOU have a LOT to learn about being a forum member, NOT me.

Sat Nov 24, 2007 10:22 am

I kinda have to agree with Lamrock, maybe not with his insult though. haha
I don't really see the point of scoring 83 with Dahntay Jones, it only proved that you are a skilled Live player, not that he is going to able to fill in Kobe when you sim. Nice presentation though, but I'd suggest making the box scores hyperlinks and posted images, also ditto for shot charts. and Make your images smaller too. (y)

LA Lakers sign James White

After getting news that Maurice Evans is going to be out quite some time because of a
strained thigh muscle. The Lakers went out to aquire James White who they actually
are going to keep for the long run who they signed to a 25 million dollar deal over 5
years with a -8% change. James White who was drafted by the Pacers and then eventually
was signed by the Spurs is known for his aerial antics. He is one of the most exciting
dunkers of the NBA. He's also strong and is a decent rebounder. Is a team player. He is
a great pickup. Maurice Evans' career in LA is in doubt.

I don't get it!! Why does everyone want this guy so badly?!? I study the NBA reiligously, and Ive never even heard of this guy!!!

Anyways keep up the great presentation, its really nicely organized.

Mon Nov 26, 2007 12:16 pm

Why the hell did Dahntay Jones start at PG anyway, considering you just traded for Jameer Nelson? I thought you needed a true playmaking PG. Colour me confused.

Mon Nov 26, 2007 12:28 pm

OMG! Is Dahntay Jones that awesome?! 83 f’n points.. Well, maybe not..

Mon Nov 26, 2007 12:32 pm

Overlooked in all this madness is 45 points from Steve Blake. 45! Steve Blake! On 47 shots, no less. If Steve Blake ever took 47 shots, I'm pretty sure Nate McMillan would kill him.

Tue Nov 27, 2007 12:16 am

@ALL,
updates coming soon, been working on a "project"

Chaser7,

Mostly i think because of this : Youtube.

Love him, he has a huge willpower.

But yeah, crazy dynasty. Waived guy scoring 83 points.. Only having 6 FT's.

Kobe Bryant playing a single minute..

Wicked..

Tue Nov 27, 2007 5:42 am

S.Blake 45 points and D.Jones 83 by the way Bryant played 1 min ? WTF I think its crazy and really not realistic dynasty Try to do it more realistic , but just its my opinion

Tue Nov 27, 2007 6:13 am

Chaser7,
haha i didn't post the same thing, read
-km-,
tehe :D
Xiphias,
