This is the first time I've seen this. If I read news from here before I see it on ESPN or RealGM, then it's gotta be false.

Look, Kobe isn't that stupid. But if this was true, I think Tay and Rip are breathing a sigh of relief right now.

Kobe is not going anywhere.

He is way too comfortable in LA. He gets to rule the team, the Laker girls, and a bunch of young players who are his complete bitches on and off the court. He is a golden god in L.A. The fans love him, he's probably already got lots of friends and shit to do around town. We already know that Kobe likes to live it up, and L.A. is the perfect spot for it.

The whole Kobe trade rumor was probably just an ad campaign to begin with :wink:
