Hi,
These are my "Jersey" patches for NBA Live 08.

These packages include home & away jerseys of all 30 NBA teams, and alternate jerseys of all 22 NBA teams.

The main benefits of these patches are: making the jerseys much brighter, and next-gen-looking with optimal contrast


RECOMMENDATION:

*I use Babylei's superlit v3.2 as lightning patch,
But of course, you can also use this patch with other lightning patches.
It won't decrease the quality

*For the best lightning quality,
I recommend setting "Brightness" level of the game to 50-60.



***This patch won't produce lag problems,
Because i didn't change the resolutions of the jerseys.
So enjoy


To install : First extract from the rar package to a temporary folder.
Then put all files into the "sgsm" folder which is located in your main NBA Live 08 folder.
e.g. C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NBA Live 08\sgsm

They aren't my taste to be honest. But I'm very picky. I think what might help is to look at nba pictures at yahoo nba, and use color picker to find RGB (red green blue) values for each jersey in direct light, and also for darker light.. that means saving the pic onto your pc, and then loading it side by side with your jersey and then try to match it so that these RGB values show when ingame. Cause it looks different ingame then when in your image program. Which means loading a screencap from the game into your image program and seeing which RGB values changed and accounting for the difference. The game might add an extra 30 red 20 green 45 blue for instance. Also alpha layer (which shows what the jersey looks like in direct light) can be used to show the difference between the silky shiny jerseys and the matt non glossy jerseys. And a lighter or darker alpha layer can also help with trying to match the rgb values to the real photos.

It's a very hard balance to try and get the rgb values right for when the direct light isn't shining on the jersey but then ALSO for when the direct light is. But looks great when you get the right balance.

I'm sure i've included Utah's alternate jersey, even i thought it was the best alternate i've made, i couldn't see it in the game. Damn

I think there should be a problem with the rosters. But don't know how to fix

You should ask Jaosming or other moderators.I think tha it has to something with rosters.When I instaled NJ alternate jerses from 07 to my 08,I could see them only when I load some rosters.Never realised why,cus that weren't rosters I got with that jerseys,some random rosters. strange..... Well,ask Jao,he knows everything about theese games!!
