My only advice is Mitch Evans=Maurice Evans.

Are you planning on keeping Kobe or trading him off?

Kobe is STAYING.
Odom? doubt it.

EDIT: I no longer know...

Los Angeles Lakers announce pre-season schedule.

The Los Angeles Lakers have one hell of a pre-season schedule ahead of them.

During week one they face the NBA Champions the San Antoni Spurs.
Will Duncan Manu and TP be too much?

The following week they head up north to take on Kevin Martin and the Kings.

Well it'll be a fun couple of weeks coming up. Take care.

Kwame Brown traded!

After Brown was confronted by the media regarding the rumors floating around that he is to
be traded, he instantly smiles in a way that management thought was very disrespectful.
These were false rumors. Then he proceeds to say "To be honest I'd love to play in the
Eastern Conference."

It wasn't long after that the LA Lakers staff pulled the trigger on a trade sending Kwame
Brown amd Coby Karl to New Jersey for rookie Forward Sean Williams (who does have
some baggage and apparently too much for New Jersey) and Jason Collins.

How does this trade affect the Lakers?

THE GOOD
+Solid Post Defender.
+Expiring Contract in Jason Collins.
+Young and promising player.

THE BAD
-Lossage of firepower on offense.
-Sean Williams has had legal problems in the past.

Nice work trading Kwame "Hands of Stone" Brown for a solid up-and-coming big man in Sean Williams. I'm not too high on Collins, but I guess he was necessary to make salaries match. And at least his contract is expiring. Solid deall there. Williams and Bynum makes a pretty good young big man combo.

LA defeats Tim Duncan and Spurs

After a few days of practicing hard worried about the first game of the preseason,
the Lakers pull off the win with a final score of 56-55. Tony Parker and Andrew
Bynum both went on a scoring rage scoring 24/15 respectively. But the
story of the night was how newly appointed starting LA Lakers Center, Andrew
Bynum, grabbed 18 boards and scored 15 points in only 16 minutes of play.

RUMORS
-T-Wolves interested in versatile forwards and a younger center?
-Wizards looking to deal Gilbert?
-Nets looking to move Carter?
-Pacers looking to move Tinsley?

Tough break for the loss of your Sixers dynasty, though it may be a blessing in disguise as now you have learned some lessons from it. This looks just as nice, although there are about 100 Laker dynasties a year on this site, and right now, 3 prestigious dynasty makers are using them.

Also, I hate the trade, but it may just be because I'm a fan of Kwame. I personally think talent-wise, you had the raw deal in the trade, since Kwame really isn't that bad and is still only 23, Collins is awful, and I'm not a fan of Sean Williams.

Either way, best of luck in this dynasty, I'll follow it.

Vladimir Radmanovic traded!

After we put Vladimir Radmanovic on the trading block alongside Center Chris Mihm,
it was only a matter of a few hours and the phone rang. It was the New York Knicks.
They said they would love to bring Radmanovic and Mihm in, they felt it would be a
drastic improvement in the team chemistry. They were quick to express their desire
to move young guard Jamal Crawford for a backup Center [in Mihm] and a backup SF/PF
[in Radmanovic] the trade matches up the deal is done. Time to see how LA reacts to the
idea of Jamal Crawford backing up Kobe Bryant.

How does this trade affect the Lakers?

THE GOOD
+Young SG who can do it all.
+If Kobe goes down with a injury they aren't totally fucked.
+Someone who could make a very good run for 6th Man of the Year.

THE BAD
-Crawford has been at times called a defensive liability.
-He's going to ask for a nice chunk of change in a few years.

Hm.. very interesting trade, I'd start Crawford though at SF, and Odom at PF... hes getting paid too much to be a 6th man, how in the world did u get the salaries to match up, I thoguht Crawford was being paid like $11 million a year or something...

EDIT: oh and fun fact, Crawford and Mihm were traded for each other on draft day haha

Ok guys where should Crawford be in the lineup? Backing up Kobe or playing PG?
If he plays PG I'll move Crittendon to the backup SG spot while he trains up. With my assistant.

Jamal Crawford- $7,920,000
for
VRad- $5,632,200
Mihm- $2,200,000

They actually saved like $100,000.

Crawford at the 3? Nah hes a PG/SG. Too small to play the 3.
Hes a pretty solid passer prolly better then Fisher is anyways. But Fisher works perfect with the Triangle...still.

I got a whole at the backup SF spot.
Evans=too short IMO
Cook=too slow IMO

Oh snap I got a idea ;)

Another interesting move. Don't get too trade happy though...

A good trade for you, but without Brown, Mihm is more valuable to you then he was before. Radmanovic for Crawford is pretty fair, and I actually think that Crawford should start at the point. (And have Fisher back up the 2)

Good luck.

^ agree with Lamrock93; I like the Crawford pick up (even though he doesn't play D); and Sean Williams didn't even get to play that last game... whaddup!?

Isaiah,
yeah me too :)

Lamrock93,
im done with trades [i think] id like to move odom but then i dont want to just because i want to keep this a Lakers dynasty and not some fantasy draft rendition like my 76ers dynasty's slew of trades. yeah im going to start him at the PG just because i think itll flow better and hell play longer then Fisher would...

Clutch,
yeah um that last game was too short  my team really didnt sub too much
but ill fix that for the next game

Xiphias,
i hope...:)

GUYS i got 3 PF's and two Centers: Bynum and Collins, Collins im going to move to PF where he can succeed in a limited role to help set up key picks and such but who out of Williams and Turiaf should play Center? Im thinking Turiaf just because Sean Williams at PF can help a lot when I play teams like San Antonio and Boston where I have a dominant PF then I could play Odom off the bench as a sixth man role in them games. Thoughts?
