Chaser7,
not sure what you mean by indent?
sorry if i sound dumb its 2:40 am...
Thu Nov 15, 2007 2:30 pm
yea that was kinda dumb, lol like your recaps they don't go all the way to the end, you make your lines shorter... I think it looks kinda weird.. lol i mean its not that big of a deal, but I think it just makes it look like ur recaps are longer than they are.. anyways good luck
Thu Nov 15, 2007 2:48 pm
Chaser7,
oh haha alright ill fix that actually im going to be working on templates
you'll see
Guys I'm going to have to mark them 3 games up as pre-season games.
Due to these reasons
1) I fucked up something and don't know how to fix it.
2) I got my final version of my roster done and I want to use that.
3) I'm needing to take time off to make some graphics for this.
Thu Nov 15, 2007 6:26 pm
hmm.. interesting trade.. I don't really like the sixers as a team, and the roster seems a bit thin. Anyways, good luck and don't forget about my dynasty!

Kevin Martin
Player Bio
Kevin Dallas Martin, Jr. (born February 1, 1983(1983-02-01)) is an American professional basketball player currently with the Philadelphia 76'ers in the NBA. He is known for his unorthodox style of shooting.
Born in Zanesville, Ohio, he played for Zanesville High School and attended college at Western Carolina University, where he majored in sports management. He ranks fourth all-time on Western Carolina's scoring list with 1,838 points. Martin was selected by the Sacramento Kings with the 26th overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft. In the 2004–05 season, Martin averaged 2.9 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game. He showed much improvement the following year, averaging 10.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.3 assists. Martin also started from time to time during the 2005–06 season, which included a start at small forward due to Ron Artest being suspended for Game Two of the team's first-round playoff series against the San Antonio Spurs following a flagrant foul (elbow to the head) on Manu Ginobili.
When interviewed on a segment by TNT during a game, Martin credited Doug Christie for helping him learn how to defend in the NBA. Likewise, Martin also credited Cuttino Mobley for helping him with his shooting. Martin played behind both guards during their tenure with the Kings. [citation needed]
In the general managers' survey at the start of the 2006–07 NBA season, Martin tied for second as the player most likely to have a breakout campaign, behind Orlando Magic's Dwight Howard.[1]
Martin played in the 2005, 2006 and 2007 Zanesville Gus Mackers tournaments.
During the 2006-07 season, Kevin Martin proved himself to be among the top scorers in the NBA, averaging 20.2 points per game, while averaging 4.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists, all career highs. He is also one of the best shooters in the league with a 47.3% shooting percentage from the field and 38.1% from beyond the three-point arc (along with 84.4% FT shooting). Kevin finished second to Monta Ellis in the NBA Most Improved Player Award.
On August 28th, 2007, the Sacramento Kings and Martin agreed to a 5 year deal worth 55 million dollars. [2]
On October 31st, 2007, the Sacramento Kings traded Kevin Martin alongside John Salmons to the Philadelphia 76'ers for Andre Iquodala and Willie Green.

Nice player bio, I think the roster still needs tweaks. and I think you could have gotten more for AI2
Fri Nov 16, 2007 8:41 am
Chaser7,
Depends on what you mean by "more"
Kevin Martin is a better scorer then Andre Igudala
Yeah sure K-Mart doesn't have all the highlight reel dunks but hes got that highly consistent jumper from anywhere. Salmons is a way better scorer then Green was. Hell to be honest I think I ripped the CPU off. Because OVR's dont mean much in the way I play just individual ratings, give me solid shooters and I'll get them a solid season.
I think when you see who I've just acquired you'll like this trade a bit more and you'll understand what I'm trying to set up a bit more.

Gooden and Dalembert combine for 35.
Box Scores
Atlanta- 94
Philadelphia- 97
Competitive 1st quarter.
The first quarter of this game was about what many analysts expected. A close game that would be decided by a shot or two. Louis Williams made his first start of the season and although he didn't score much himself [9 points] he excelled at getting his team mates involved. Kevin Martin was a disappointment offensively in the 1st quarter, he did not make a single shot in the 1st quarter. Going 0-3, blessing in disguise?
Atlanta captures the lead.
The second quarter came around. Philly started off hot going on a 4-0 run. Kevin Martin came out of the game because he wasn't performing too well. Then Atlanta went on a 23-0 scoring streak, thanks greatly to Joe Johnson's 18 point 2nd quarter effort. The buzzer buzzed. Halftime.
Philadelphia come back.
Mo Cheeks must've led one hell of a pep rally in the locker room because the 76'ers came rolling out like a pack of wolves howling and shouting they showed the fans in the stands they promised to win this game. And they didn't take that promise away. Gooden and Dalember went on a scoring rage during the 3rd quarter combining for 26 points [14/12].
Philadelphia secures the win.
Drew Gooden collected the Player of the Game award. He scored sixteen points grabbed four rebounds stole the ball twice and passed for one assist. Rodney Carney had a great game off the bench scoring 10 points in 13 minutes while grabbing 3 boards dishing out 1 assist and gathering 1 steal. Joe Johnson had a great night for Atlanta scoring 25 key points dishing out 7 assists grabbing 3 boards and getting 1 steal.

Wow you replied to this fast

InGottiWeTrust, good win against the hawks. Too bad my boy Kevin Martin had a bad game. But maybe he will have better stats next game.

Nice trade and restart. The AI2-Gooden-Haywood for Chandler-Paul-Butler would have worked way more in your advantage, but this one is more realistic, and more grounded.
Nice presentation. Nice win against one of the league's worst!
Fri Nov 16, 2007 12:04 pm
InGottiWeTrust, Wow! Another trade! The Sixers sure are active in acquiring good players. Nice trade to get Fish.

Wow!!!! Very nice recap! How its presented really doesn't give all the hard work justice. Excellent touch with the team stats and the in-depth info. For the most part, all the stats are realistic. Pretty crazy seeing McCants averaging 26.6 PPG, Livingston and Iverson leading the league in assists, and KG and Dwight not in the top 5 rebounders, but that is Live for you.
Keep this up man! I'll definitely stay with this.
Fri Nov 16, 2007 8:02 pm
I always thought McCants would be a scorer for the Wolves, but I expected a 15-20, not a whopping 26.6 ppg

Game Procedures
I will play 5 games and the rest will be simmed. I like to sim games because
well I'm anxious to get to the off-season [and hopefully the play-offs]. And I don't
have the time really to post game by game at this moment, and probably never
will. But eh I'll try to make this even more efficient as time goes on.

Nice dynasty man. Very good job with the team stats, they are pretty realistic. Not a fan of such a lot of trades, but seems that your team is running very well so far.
