77 is abit high for a rookie. i cbf changing their colours and numbers. it will be fixed for next.

dont forget to update the east/west all-stars to 06/07 OR 07/08 roster by next update as well

i noticed a mistake. m. shakur is listed as a free agent and as a player of the kings.

some players do have strange positions as well. but that's maybe a matter of personal taste.

another thing: the game crashes when i want to play a match with the bulls.

i would appreciate some sort of solution for the crashing-problem. does anyone else has it?

yeah, cos it's quite essential in a section where every now and then someone has a look in, not to post three posts in a row...

if i would have edited it, no one would have given a flying f... as it doesn't say "new post".


the problem is still there and i can't figure out why it is there. i uninstalled the game, deleted the sgms foder etc., reinstalled it, updated the roster with super man 3222000's patch and all the other stuff and the damn game still gets me back to the desktop whenever i have to play the bulls.

some more things i've noticed after playing a while:
- the crash i mentiond with the bulls, also occurs when the rockets are involved in a match
- some players have black bodies. their heads and their accessory (like headbands, sweatbands etc.) are alright but everything else (arms, legs) is just black. so far i spotted j.r. smith, maurice williams, marc jackson and david west with this problem.

sorry for not editing again, but as i said nobody would notice these additions. is there anyone in charge of this update actually reading this thread? if so, it would be nice, if one could give a feedback.

when is the next update going to be? also, we need some sort of new SUM05 thingy. the old one has died out completely...

Well, all we really need is to get a long list of permissions from people to convert a bunch of stuff (say, CF's from SUM 07, jerseys from somewhere, courts, the TNT silver bg's, Andrew's latest roster for 08 when it comes out) and then package it together.

not sure wen it will come out. i did a simeng it is acturate to the rosters so i might release that soon, im kinda off 05 for now. I might consider patching live 03. seems like a better game to me atm. ill consider returning if work load is taken off me with a sum05 or something.

ps. with the rosters open them up with openoffice then save it again and that should work the bulls. They have black arms because the colouring is wrong in the appearance file. change that to the apporpriate colour
0= light white(yao ming) 1= white(brad miller) 2=light black (ira newble)
3= medium black (dwayne wade) 4= dark black (luol deng/kevin garnett)

But if you use excel, it will corrupt the files.

not for me..well, i guess it varies among some people
i used either excel/access to replace different generic shoes when ryan converted andrew's roster for me. so say for example, his choice of generic away/home shoes would be something like 128(away) and 150(home) and so i changed them all to 39(home) and 104(away)

i still need to know which files i should open and save to get rid of the crashs...

You can just use 08 or 07 cyberfaces. You can convert the headshapes to be compatible with 05. Also, try to download the sgsm that some of our members uploaded like jonthefon, his sgsm has all the rookies.

how I can convert NBA 08 cyberfaces ?
just move nba 08 sgsm folder in nba 2005 folder ?
