Controls

Postby tomswaelen on Fri Oct 10, 2003 8:52 am

I have a Logitech Rumblepad. It appears extra functions have been added to 2004, such as the Pro Hop button. Do you think I can fit all these controls onto my Rumblepad? In 2003, I already had to leave Pause, Playcalling and Direct Pass open... And I've always thought a shift button on a gamepad is a bad idea...

Who knows more? I don't think a Rumblepad has more buttons than a PS2 controller...

You should be able to use the Pro Hop button, but it sounds like you'll still have to leave a couple of things out (Playcalling, etc).

actually, the logitech gamepad should controll all the functions.
the number of buttons is more or less the same as gamepad of PS2 and XBOX .

is the rumblepad a good controller??
I have a more basic logitech with only one analog stick, along with the d-pad. You need 2 analogs for live tho, right?

if you have extra dough, go ahead and buy a new controller. I guess a controller is cheap where you live. When live 2003 came out, i desparately had to look for a controller that would accomodate the freestyle feature. I found a PSX controller converter that would enable me to use that onto the USB port. Not perfect but it does the job.

CHEERS! :D

That's a very good point. I do use the button for stealing though.

I believe the crossover button has been replaced by Pro-Hop.

i remember i have watched a video which was showing the controller setup page.
I can't remember which one exactly but it should be from operation sports.

maybe you can find out some hints.
(though that one was showing the Xbox version) :)
