Has alot to do with which team wins the game.. pretty much if u get 40+ points ive found and u win the game that player will get it.. i often have my PG getting 25 points and 20 assists.. and my shooting guard with 50 points and few scragglies, and the SG will get MVP.

95% of the time the player with the most points on the winning team, only times that doesnt happen is when another player on the winning team has like a triple double, multiple steals/blocks or a lot of assists/boards to go along with considerable amount of points

on ps3, it depends on position and if the position performed what they should do, and exceeded it.

I have LBJ with 20 points, 5 assists, 9 rebounds, but like 78% FG... I also have a steve nash with like 40 points, 4 assists, 0 rebounds, but 32% FG (in an online quick pick game or whatever)

So it's not all about points, a lot has to do with assists, rebounds. It also has to do with FG %, if you chuck up a million shots, get a million points but you missed a lot of the shots, then you won't win MVP.

I think it's a good, fair calculation actually. In 07 pc the high point man would get it every time, now it's who contributed the most to the game/win. Also, if the loser has a really good performance (I played shaq, he had 22 points, 20 rebounds), then they can still win MVP too.
