Anybody got some good sliders for PC version?

Postby CaptainSpooge on Thu Nov 01, 2007 10:08 am

Just wondering if anyone has had the time to come up with some decent All-Star or Superstar sliders to make the game a bit more realistic? Preferably for 10 minute quarters. Thanks.

Using the settings you posted with the IRPT roster is working pretty well.

I did have to make three changes:

1. Upped the game speed to 45 to reduce the players from stopping when receiving a pass on fast breaks

2. Upped the foul sliders to get more realistic levels

3. Upped the quarter length to 10 minutes

I've played a handful of games now and I'm getting a decent number of fouls and my final scores have been in the 90s - low 100s for both teams...and that's only because I have a bad habit of starting out playing "real" basketball (ie. passing the ball around and looking for open shots) but end up playing more of a run and gun up tempo by the mid-3rd quarter or so until the end of the game.

How did you do in the FG%? Quite high for me i think. I got about 53% for me and 48% for my opponent.

And did you guys noticed that everytime you do a timeout, almost all stamina gets back to 100%? so the guards never get subbed...

It's been in the mid to upper 40s for both me and the CPU teams most times. I've had a couple of games where it moved into the 50s but just chalked that up to random variables.

And I have noticed that with the stamina. I'm going to play around with the stamina setting and see if I can get that under control.

upper 40s is high for fg% right?

for the stamina, i made the fatigue effect high but still no effect. maybe if the stamina ratings are lower then they get tired easily. but problem is if we put it under dynasty, the draft picks might have higher stamina rating compared to the orignal rosters.

Not really. Looking at NBA box scores for the real world games so far this season, mid to upper 40s seems to be the norm with a few low 50s sprinkled in.

Ah i see... Thanks for clearing that up.

So we're left with the fatigue issue here...
