Logging In Problem

Postby Pera on Sat Oct 20, 2007 4:43 am

Might be another error in the forum database I'm not sure.

Every time I come to the site and try to log in it doesn't work the first time. I click the Log In button the page refreshes and I'm not logged yet. Then when I try it the second time it works and I log in. The downside of this is that I don't see if there are any new posts when clearly they have been made .

So whats up with this ? :?

Yeah, it doesn't work both ways..

Strange that it doesn't .

Could it be the internet browser is having problems or some settings are messed up ?

Might be related to your cookies, I don't know. Does it happen to anyone else?

Its odd though, it was working fine until a few days ago and I am sure that I didn't change any settings or anything else in Mozilla.

NLSC does that, I've had it happen to me a couple of times too. Eventually it just stops though.

I think it does that whenever it's having it's periods. Bitch.

Yea, that does seem to be the case.

Pera: Try removing your NLSC cookies and see if it works..

Tried deleting the cookies and its still the same. Also I do enter the site with the "www" so that can't be a problem.

Hopefully its gonna go away on its on, not seeing the new posts is quite annoying .

Always happens to me but when I enter the forums via the main page, nba-live.com, and click Forums I log in automatically. The way it should be.

Try it out  , gil_zero. It still works the same, probably Qballer made a teeny, weeny, typo.

Never happened to me. I put this http://www.nbaliveforums.com/ on the toolbar provided by Google.

That always always always happens to me at home, but at the computer at my desk at work the login works the first time every time. Maybe a vista thing? I like blaming vista.

It can't be a vista thing since I have XP installed.

Tried it via the main page as shadow suggested and it actually worked the first time. I'll see if this is solved, hopefully it is .

Thanks to everyone for their help .

When there are server problems you might experience some problems logging in but it's often a case of your security settings or third party security programs causing problems with your browser using cookies and logging you out (or not letting you log in in the first place).
