Talk about NBA Live 08 here.

It had better be good

Anybody know why the North America release date of the PC version is last and that late? They wanna make it better for North Americans?

And JaoSming replied that no "own the paint" in the PC version. Does that mean still no "post play" in live 08 PC version?

No "Own the Paint." No "Quickstrike. " Why don't these morons just put Lakers vs. Celtics in a shrink wrapped package and call it Live 08?

From their perspective, why should they? They're a business, and that's how businesses flourish. Now, one would think that releasing a quality product would directly lead to increased revenue, and while I don't have EA's earnings reports in front of me, apparently that hasn't been the case (or maybe it has, if their earnings from Live has seen sharp drop offs, etc.). At any rate, don't fool yourself into thinking that any company cares about anything other than dollar signs.

Businesses flourish with attention, superior products, and customer service. If EA doesn't want to service the PC market, then it's foolish to continue to make a half effort to release a PC game.

Let's just say that the next one better be a next gen convert for the PC... If the graphics push the system requirements too high (for the average consumer) then do something else with those, but come on... PC is the master of building UI's and the one we got now, is the same as it's been for the last couple of years and it's a piece of #!?##?*!?#

I only had a brief stint with the game and it's a bit better than live 07, but nothing big.
