question about Bobcats & Hornest

te bobcats are in the game, so
the will be in the eastern conference.

and the hornets still have 1 year more in the Eastern until the move to the Western

My question is if somebody know how both teams will be divided

I think the Hornets have opted not to move until the 2004/2005 season (they were given the choice of moving this year or next year). This doesn't affect NBA Live 2004, since the Bobcats won't be in any division - they'll only be playable in Exhibition Mode.

So...does anyone know if the T-wolves will move East or not?? Or will the League "discuss" it in the "near" future??

Both the Grizzlies and Timberwolves have applied to move East, but it's not happening just yet.

for the entry of the bobcats (draft 2004) there is two choice

first , New orleans move to the midwest division(spurs,wolves,grizzlies,mavs,jazz,rockets,nuggets) and charlotte go to the central division

Second, the nba could do the same thing like the NHL, make 6division of 5team

In either event, there will be some reshuffling of division alignments.

I think I read somewhere that if the NBA ever gets 30 teams, it will be divided into six divisions and two conferences...

So expect the 6 division stuff start appearing sometime next summer.

Yeah, I agree that its the last easy chance for my beloved Hornets to get to the Finals, to say they stand no chance in the West is going too far.

You'll be amazed with the facts, but The Hornets were one of few East teams that had a winning record against Western teams last season. I believe the Pistons had the best record against West teams, though I could be wrong.

Undoutedly, the Hornets are one of the top teams in the East. Obviously I did not mean to rule them out completely. And though I wasn't being 100% precise in the wording, I meant what you meant.

If the Timberwolves move to the eastern conference Kevin Garnett might get out of the first round.

I think geographically, the logical choice is for Memphis to go east, New Orleans to move west and Charlotte in the Atlantic Division
