Looks great, thanks for the links.

I don't know if you guys know this already but i saw in the "load/save" screen "load saved game" so this must mean that there is ingame save.

or it could just mean that you can load/save rosters...which was always possible.

no, ingame save is in the game. there are nine options in the load/save menue:

load saved game
load settings
load rosters
load user profile

same procedure, but save instead of load. then you have the ability do delete saves.

Didn't NBA Live 2002 and NBA Live 2003 both have a "Load Saved Game" feature? The games that they referred to were saved Playoffs, Seasons and Franchises. I don't think this means ingame saves are in Live 2004.

http://www.operationsports.com/media/movies/nbalive2004/live2004xbox3.wmv (Save As...)

i noticed the ingame-save aswell...
(and ofcourse i must give a screen of it)
Image
there's also the new denver court...
Image Image

+ there's a buzzer-beater in there and it looks very nice...
although i find it a little wierd that the referee looks a the replay. discuses with the other about whether it count's or not. and have players bitch about it. all during the time the ball is still in the air... hehe. just a small thing, but whatever

The same "Load Saved Game" option was in NBA Live 2003. From this screen, you could load saved seasons, playoffs and franchises.

Man. All lives since 2001 have had that.
it just means load franchise, season, playoffs etc.

go chuck on ya 2003 or 2002 or 2001 and you'll see the same thing.

What I saw and liked was the score at half time. 31 - 24 with 5min quarters. Seems just about right where we would get something close to 50ish points at half time if to play in 12min.

thats becouse the games are on PS2 and X-BOX. they don't have that possibilities (yet)
but that just enhances the probeblillity that there are not any in-game save. becouse then why would they have put an option like that in the console-version when it's not posssible to use it
hmm, that's sad...

hmm, oh yea. on x-box anyway... but thene you have to have a memory-card. which far from everyone has.
it was the same thing with the 'free-style tutorials' last year... they had it for PS2 cuz all the contloers on PS2 had the possibility. but not every PC user had...

+ PS2 has a hard-drive. but no games have yet to used it... don't know why...

from another video
how u load a save of dynasty mode,
is first select 'dynasty mode' in the main menu,
then there are three options for u to choose.
1) new
2) load
3) exit or back (whatever)

so, there maybe a in-game save function this year that you can load from 'load saved game'

:o

You can use memory cards on the PS2 as well, and almost everyone I know with a PS2 has 2 or 3 of them.
