Talk about NBA Live 08 here.

7 and 9 might but the rest is pretty much spot on. Still controllers suck with FPS. You might be able to get roster updates but still consoles suck for mods.

I think that list that he put up are only minor problems or problems that you simply encounter because you lack experience playing with the console. I personally think that the PC is better than the console, but he paints console games in a bad picture when in fact they aren't as bad as he makes them out to be.

"But that doesn't mean I want to play with Tetris-like graphics."

Far more people have played Tetris than all EA's sports games combined.

no where

nothing official except for a fact sheet has been released for the PC version. The fact sheet was shared by the PS2 version so it is safe to say that you can look at everything I and review websites have posted for the PS2 version and assume that is what we are getting for the PC.
Opinions are my own.

I'm expecting no widescreen support, no xbox360 controller support etc.

I guess no NBA Live 08 for me (unless I buy a xbox360/PS3, which won't probably happen coz I'd rather spend my money on upgrading my PC or buying other things)

EA's NBA Live development is now, what, five years behind current PC capablities?

But those EA developers are the best of the best.

That is not the point. The point is EA is now a money whore and does not care about customers to even update Live on PC to support the 360 controller.

It has been the same since 2005 so about 3 years.

Can't believe EA can create high range games such as Crysis and not even beable to just upgrade Nba live 08 graphics to next gen.

Producer of the Crysis game is Crytek Entertainment Development Company which founded by 3 Turkish brothers (Cevat,Avni and Faruk YERLI). The main office is located in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

If the NBA Live 08 is a nextgen game, what the Crysis is? Futuregen ! :)

Not only was what you just said an insult to Crytek but it is giving EA to much credit.

Ya Crysis was like already done (maybe half) when they bought Crytek. Now watch after the game comes out EA will fire those guys and have their own people make the next one and it will suck. It will be released early with bugs.

Anyone else want to take up a bet?

I think EA cannot dare to fire those guys.Because the engine belongs to Crytek and this is the only engine produced for DX10 for now.

But you're right. They'll force them to release the game early with bugs within.Because EA only cares about making money, not the game. It's some kind of principle for them...

Crysis will be awesome I bet. But he next version EA will force some early release date (so they can make money) they can't meet so the game will have bugs.

I'm afraid of that too. Just bought a badass 22'' widescreen and I guess I'll have to play Live all stretched out :x
