Shows you watch?

Postby Joe' on Tue Oct 02, 2007 7:45 am

I've always wondered which shows you guys watched so I made a thread about it.
I mainly want to know, since there's a lot of good ones, which NEW shows you guys watch.

Here's the ones I'm sure gonna watch this season:

- Bones
- Nip/Tuck
- Traveler (if it gets picked up by some network)
- Prison Break
- Heroes
- Jericho (January)
- Chuck
- Journeyman
- Aliens in America
- Samantha Who?
- Reaper
- Cane
- Pushing Daisies
- Bionic Woman
- Life
- Dirty Sexy Money
- Big Shots
- Moonlight
- New Amsterdam (January)

Most of them are new shows which I only saw the pilot of, but I think they're pretty cool.

So what do you guys watch on TV?

The Shield
Dexter

I need new shows. Some that have a couple of seasons on DVD and are worth watching.

Prison Break had me bored 4 episodes in to the second season. So sad.

That seems like an awful lot, Joe. I can't ever imagine watching that much television. I'd say about 90+% of the time I devote to television is watching sports... anyway...

I never miss an episode of LOST.
I watch Grey's Anatomy with my girlfriend.

Numb3rs (not at my own will)

I watch mostly sports, so not much time for TV series.

I guess "new" means old shows that have new seasons now?

Curb Your Enthusiasm
The whole Fox Sunday, Simpsons-KOTH-Family Guy-American Dad. Though I would prefer four KOTH episodes.
Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations
Back To You (I like Kelsey Grammer)
Kitchen Nightmare's
Project Runway
South Park
NBC Thursday, Earl-30 Rock-Office-Scrubs
It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
The Soup
Psych
The IT Crowd (the new UK series, don't know when the US one is coming)

I will watch the Reaper and Chuck episodes of recent to see if I will watch either.

Oh, and The Wire when it returns to kick every single show listed in this thread's asses.

How could I forget. That first season was a classic. So I'll add that too my list, plus season 3 of The Mighty Boosh (my favourite British comedy show) and the 5th season of Black Books if they ever make it.

24
Las Vegas
Survivorman
Prison Break

I've been a die hard 24 fan since I first saw it (during the 2nd season). Last season wasn't the best but it doesn't matter, I still look forward to it no matter what. It just blows that it doesn't start until January. I love watching Las Vegas - I got hooked on it back in season 1 but haven't been able to watch much of it lately. It got moved to Friday nights so I just TiVo it now and watch it when I have free time. Survivorman is my favorite show not named 24 but I only watch it when I'm bored and actually have time to watch some tv. Prison Break I'm just now getting into - never really watched it that much the first few seasons but I'm TiVo'ing it and trying to get into it this season.

It's hard to watch much tv taking classes at night and working 9-5 every day. When I finally get some free time it's hard to devote it to watching tv :(

In no particular order:

Simpsons
Family Guy
American Dad
South Park
Entourage
Heroes
My Name is Earl
Naruto
Bleach

I usually do marathon sessions to watch the shows and not tune in religiously to the TV. If I do manage to catch one in TV, my remote clicking finger stop, until the show is over.

Actually I don't watch them on television; Most of the shows I listed aren't available on Italian TV, not even satellite TV. And the few that are available are like two seasons behind (the only show that is on the same season here as the US is House.)
Now that I think about it, I don't watch television at all, lol.

Most of the times I watch them shows on DVD or on the Internet.

I don't really watch T.V. that much at all but when I do, I watch:

South Park
The Daily Show
Colbert Report
ESPNEWS
Man vs. Wild (love this show)
Anything on National Geographic

I'm thinking about getting some seasons of The Office on DVD. I haven't watched it at all but I've heard nothing but good things about it.

Glad to see another one that watches that show. I find it actually one of the best reality shows I've seen so far. The conflict and bad business on that show truly is amazing.

The 4400 is boring as shit. First season was passable, second season was just horrible.

Maybe I'm just spoilt by HBO writers.

TopGear all the way!

For those who haven't seen it, it's the most hilarious and awesome car show ever invented and it's on BBC.

I also watch Colbert Report/Daily Show, Lost, the Office, and Heroes.
