Drex's shortlist is sort of... not a shortlist at all

My shortlist is the mother of all short lists. Just two names

Jae, I will be away for the next couple of days so feel free to pick on my behalf. Your well aware of my lack of football knowledge, so I'm more than willing to trust your guidance.

Alright (Y) I'll try to stick with the theme of your team. So... FM > search > minimum age 30 > striker

Ronaldo?! lol what's his weight again? Apparently Wikipedia doesn't say it. Maybe to avoid embarrasing the record holder for most career World Cup goals...

He's scored 90 goals in his last 130 games or so and was the second top scorer in the last World Cup... I have no idea why people have decided he sucks now, it really confuses me.

Edit:

Seems to have dropped the weight.

Yeah I agree, he still has plenty of talent, strikers dont always have to be super fast, I think a reason a lot of people over look him is that he is getting quite old and most seem to think that strikers have to be under 30 to be good

He's still under 30 in the game lol he's 29. I think because everyone decided he was fat in the World Cup that he's just stuck with the reputation no matter what. He's scored 7 goals in 14 games for AC Milan, I'm not sure Shevchenko has scored 7 goals in total for Chelsea. Anyway he's great in the game, I wouldn't have picked him otherwise.

I didn't say he sucked, just fat. You know, one can be both good and fat at the same time. Just ask Prince Fielder.

EDIT: Apparently I posted this about 6 minutes late.

Lol well there we go, he even meets the criteria of being under 30, yeah I think he is deffinately still in good form. As for Scheva I find it weird how he hasnt really performed for Chelsea, maybe its just that he doesnt fit well with the EPL style of play.

Haha, i was suprised he wasnt on the untouchable list.. and that he hadnt been taken already.. Great pick for my team, young, and already good. Plus as i mention would work well with Bastian.

Nick will be joining the game after the draft. He's at a bit of a disadvantage because he's so late but I didn't want to interrupt the draft order at this stage since we're almost finished. He'll have the same undraftable list of players, and will pick his entire team based on whoever's left around the football World lol.

Awesome, the more the better (Y) I think there will still be a lot of decent players left out there.

Sweet (Y)
Damn you Mark, Robben was on my shortlist.. Was thinking of taking him before i remembered Podolski..

Anyways, i went with Vicente to add more youth and offensive strikepower, and then took Emerson to bolster the midfield for a few seasons.. Pick 4 is good to go (Y)

Chivu - Lucio - Mertesacker - Alves

Aimar - van der Vaart - Riquelme - Ribery

Sobis - Fred
