well, I have both and to tell you the truth...my xbox 360 is dying. I get the red light now and then. nhl 08 freezed on me like 10 times already....

I upgraded my PC this year a lot! why? Crysis - MOH:Airborne - Virtua Tennis 3 - John Woo Presents Stranglehold ...any many more to come are all next gen graphics Today on the PC!

Stick to PC...that is my opinion. Games for Windows are much cheaper and you can always download a game if you want. I just cannot afford to spend 60 - 70 bucks on a game....I would rather upgrade my PC for that money.

Games for Windows will start coming..........2008 is the year. Vista SP1 comes out more stable and DX10 WOW can't get better for the PC platform!!!!

PC gaming has just begun!!!!

Dont ever trade a computer for a game system.

I have 6 year old dell that I still use to play SNES emulators on. You cant kill the SOB's if the build quality is solid. (Y)

It all depends on what you do on your PC. If all you do is play games on the PC, then you might as well get a 360. You'll have to find another way of getting online, but you can always get a real cheap pc that can't do anything but browse the net. I wouldn't get a 360 based off an EA game, though. Save your money, you will be happy with both, especially after the Xbox drops the price. There will always be deals popping up.

No, I'm not trying to advertise or anything, but some people on this board may have seen my post, there are some sites to get a free xbox 360, if you put some time into it and complete an offer.

Don't sell it for an xbox 360, xbox 360's in their current state are no good, too many problems (3 red rings), and their hardware isn't quite as good as top end because it's a couple years old.

I think they're going to announce a few things from sony coming up soon, I think they have a 40gb ps3 coming for $399, and the dual shock 3 controller which is sixaxis with rumble. I would wait for that personally, I think it's a better bargain.

I would not sell a PC for an xbox 360 because an xbox 360 can't replace a PC in any aspect besides gaming (all it can do is game, can't web browse, can't install another OS without a lot of hassle, etc ---- on my ps3 I installed yellow dog linux with the bootloader on the flash drive, and when I'm too lazy to get up to my pc I browse the web or use aim on that ------ It's a better substitute to a pc), and all games cost $60 new so you'll go broke buying games.

Once the new Falcon(?) 360s ship, the ones with the 65nm die, alot of those problems should be a thing of the past.

If your concern is that NBA Live 09 won't be released for the PC, that's purely fan speculation as far as I'm aware. At this point it looks like the most innovation is going to the version that isn't ported to the PC though so I guess that's something to consider.

As Pdub said though, it depends on what else you use your PC for since a cheap, older PC might suit your needs just fine if you're going to be doing all your gaming on a console.
