Also in other news I heard the Knicks are thinking of sending their best pure shooter overseas for a year to clear some roster space, Demetris Nichols. The Knicks currently have 17 players on their roster and they are going to need to cut it down to 15 before the season starts. Although 3 of these guys are just going to be on the inactive list I would still rather have Nichols on that then in Europe so he could have some first hand experience on life in the NBA. And no I'm not just saying that because i've been watching him play since his freshman year in Syracuse and i'm an official Demetris Nichols fanboy, i'm saying this because he is really a good player and he would fill the void the Knicks need as a crunchtime performer. I've seen the Knicks many times while Jamal Crawford was injured and they had no one to go to down the stretch. They got a steal with Nichols and they better utilize him. Zeke could easily let go Malik Rose, Dickau, or Jerome James so I don't see why he's even thinking of shipping over one of there most prolific young players.

I swear to God I have only two things to be envious of the New York Knicks about:

1a. Madison Square Garden

1b. Demetris Nichols

I love the guys game. If theres one thing Isiah does well, it's drafting players.

I agree there. Where ever he has been, he definitely drafts well. He's had a few miscues (Jonathan Bender, anyone?) but for the most part he's a good assessor of talent. But talent aint everything, lol.

Speaking of solid players from syracuse, whatever happened to Preston Schumpert? Or Lazarus Hill, or Kueth Duany...

Yeah Syracuse is the shit. I know Shumpert played in Europe for AJ Milano, and he was a great scorer. I'm not sure what the fuck happened to Hill, and Duany played in the D league. Etan is having a decent career for an ex-syracuse player. I wish Shumpert played in the NBA though

Lol, remember that Alley-oop that hill threw to John Wallace in the National Championship? I think it was either 95 or 96. He was one of my favorite players from that time. Shumpert was flat-out nasty. Best scorer in the conference at that time. Duany played in the D-League? wow. I liked his game alot, reminded me of F rutgers had, Herve Lamizana, same type of players. I played againt them a few times in the NCAA sanctioned summer leagues around the state when I was a Frosh at Kean.

I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before but on the Madison Square Garden tour during the NBA Live 08 community day in June I saw a framed poster of Isiah with "Experience the vision" in huge letters. Needless to say, I had to get a photo of it.

This poster... It didnt have a picture of Z-Ro pigging out on pizza hut before practice did it? Thats a vision i hoped not to experience... :D

I really hope he keeps this group together. Balkman has a chance to be a bowen like player, hes already a monster on D and his energy is tremendous. Lee actually shouldnt have been a surprise, he was a monster in FL before his injury. He and James White were supposed to be like the second coming down there.

Its refreshing to see a couple players who havent lost the hunger and passion of competition wearing blue and orange.

Well, it was before the Draft so they could have a new one up with a Randolph motif of some sort by now. ;)

With me, it's mostly hate. Zeke has a knack for finding talent, but as a GM and businessman he's a disaster. He's just so-so as a coach.

F--k Dolan!

"Bitch, I don't give a f--k about these white people," Browne Sanders said Thomas told her.

"I figured it out when we played horse," she said Thomas told her after a 2004 Knicks victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. "I'm in love with you. It's like the movie 'Love and Basketball.'"

Isiah REALLY needs to lift his standards.

Stephon Marbury reportedly called the lawsuit a joke then broke into song as he left the courthouse and commented on a reporter's shoes for good measure.

Remember, we've only heard her side of the story, so all this is alleged. I can't wait to see how Zeke weasels his way out of this one. Dolan is such a big Isiah suck-ass - I wonder if he'd fire Zeke if he loses this case?

Stern Could Come After James Dolan

If Knick owner James Dolan loses the civil suit bought by Anucha Browne Sanders, then Dolan may lose more than a few more million dollars, according to the New York Daily News.

According to a code of conduct put into writing last year, NBA Commissioner David Stern has the right to punish an owner or executive for behavior detrimental to the league. And while Stern won't comment on ongoing litigation, the NBA is understandably fed up with the Knicks' ownership. If there is an unfavorable verdict for Dolan, the commissioner surely will summon Dolan to discuss the ramifications.

Those ramifications probably won't involve selling the team though.

That's actually an opinion column, not a news story. Shame on RealGM for misleading people.

Zeke's was found guilty, but I doubt if he gets fired. A competent owner would, but we're talking about Brain-Dead Dolan.

Also, more bad news for Knicks fans. Apparently, Curry and Randolph are out of shape, and Curry is unsure how well they'll co-exist.

Will they be the twin Oliver Millers? Probably not, but definitely not an encouraging sign.

The ones who suck on the Zeke Kool-aid do. I get into heated arguments with them on other sites.
