after getting excited by the dynasty video...

It seems to me that what were shown in the video was just like those"cut scene" in NBA Live 2003.

What I means is, people will be interested when you see these scenes first time, second time, third time...but may soon get bored. :?

Anyway, its another great improvement, i must say.

Of course. Cut-scenes do get repetitive after a while. But a video of the menu screens probably wouldn't be all that exciting.

Good point Andrew, the menus would only intrest us hardcore fans...

I am just hoping that they didn't use all this time to make some nice cut scenes... That would just suck.

I think that everyone would agree on this one... What I mean is that we all appreciate everything else much better then some lame cut scenes of rookies partying after being picked.

And think about the draft situation... If you are going to see a cut scene for each rookie that gets drafted, well that will get extremely boring and time consuming the first time around already. Which is not good. I wonder how they've handled that... I you see a cut scene say 5 seconds long of each player, well that would make 5x30 seconds per round 150 seconds and 300 for two rounds. That's five minutes of watching people get up and celebrate as they get picked and that's just too long... I would think that they only get to see it when you draft...

Well, cutscenes do add to the mood of the game and the sense of being there, but they don't add to the depth of the game.

Perhaps you can toggle the amount of cutscenes, so you only see the player you draft get up and shake David Stern's hand. I'm sure cutscenes can be skipped if you're running short on time.

Well, if there was a dynasty cutscene slider...i would set it to ALWAYS. I think these are great. it adds a nice realistic feel to the game.

I will marvel at all the cutscenes too when the game comes out, but they will get repetative in the end... It would be a good thing to get some sort of a slider for them. And that you could adjust the slider on the fly, and not just set it at something at the start of the dynasty.

Cutscenes are good too, but gameplay and dynasty are better.

I still think cutscenes are just the tip of the iceberg. Improvements to free agency and so forth will be left unhyped - we'll discover the little things ourselves. What we do know about Dynasty Mode's features is very promising, to say the least. The videos have shown us the kind of atmosphere Dynasty Mode will have. We'll be taken inside the lockerroom and have a front row seat at the draft and press conferences where award winners are announced.

I dont think the franchise cut scenes will get to me too much since they wont be happening nearly as much as ingame cutscenes. The ingame cutscenes are the ones i might find myself skipping through after a while it actually depends on how many they are, how good they are and how well they are done. Last years were basically corny comic strips in a video game that served no purpose really. I want to see a substitution cutscene where one particular player leaves the court and daps the other thats replacing him maybe even whispers some pep talk in his ear before he goes on the court. That would have some variety in it because it involves different players all the time. Hopefully we see some good stuff liek that this year.

If it's anything like last year, the PC version won't have tutorial videos.

i'm going straight for the player walking out of the locker room after being waived cut scene, lol
do u guys think in dynasty mode, whn u trade a player (at least all star level player), he will play awesomely whn he plays his old team the first time? like in the actual nba whn players play against the old teams

It would be nice if certain games were significant like that, but I'd like to see players go on hot and cold streaks first.

To extend this idea, it will be interested if a player can automatically "on fire"(with the circle below him flashing) when playing against his previous team. :D :D
