I use a Winamp plugin called MusicIP Mix where you select a song in your library and it will create a playlist of similar songs.

I gotta say this one was pretty BA. It was exactly what I needed to hear after work today.

1. Linkin Park - Bleed It Out (2:44)
2. Rob Zombie - Demon Speeding (3:29)
3. System Of A Down - Chop Suey (3:30)
4. Korn - Word Up (2:54)
5. Tenacious D - Wonderboy (4:06)
6. Bon Jovi - You Give Love A Bad Name (3:44)
7. Seether - Fine Again (4:03)
8. Celldweller feat. Styles Of Beyond - Shapeshifter (3:16)
9. ACDC - Let Me Put My Love Into You (4:14)
10. ACDC - Hells Bells (5:11)
11. Green Day vs. Oasis vs. Travis vs. Eminem & Aerosmith - Boulevard Of Broken Songs (4:34)
12. ACDC - Shook Me All Night Long (3:32)
13. Three Days Grace - I Hate Everything About You (3:55)

I actually try to listen to some calming music after a long day.

But, to each their own.

Sun Aug 19, 2007 4:11 am

Nice list Jao except for this one:
4. Korn - Word Up (2:54)

I say, WTF.

Sun Aug 19, 2007 7:33 am

Have you heard it?

Sun Aug 19, 2007 5:19 pm

People still use WinAmp?

I have been into Blaqk Audio lately...another successful side project. It's weird, side projects are usually such disasters, but lately I've found myself either preferring or at least enjoying them as much as "main" projects.

Sun Aug 19, 2007 7:03 pm

I still use Winamp, it's not a resource hog so I can run it in the background while playing some games.
I use the last 2.xx version, 2.95 I think. Any version above that is horrible, I'm better off with Windows Media Player rather than use the higher versions of Winamp.

JaoSming wrote:Have you heard it?

Sadly, yes.
Please don't remind me again of that song.

This is a fricking awesome live performance from Pearl Jam!

Wed Aug 22, 2007 6:52 am

Just heard the Kanye song with Daft Punk. Definitely a good track.

Re: Jackal, I like to listen to mellow stuff after a long work day as well.

I just bought Talib Kweli's new album today when it came out. Good CD so far..

Protest The Hero's awesome lead singer did some stupid songs for no reason.

This is a pro-smoking cigarette song
So everybody light one up and fuckin' sing along
Cancer, whatever
Heart disease, who cares
Angina sounds funny so I'll take it

Sun Aug 26, 2007 2:36 pm

on some kanye news. I'm really looking foward to "graduation". I'm also planning on buying eardrum by Talib Kweli pretty soon too. Finding forever by Common is one of the hottest cd's I've heard in a while, but I prefer "be". Hmmmm lemme see, Lupe Fiasco's "The Cool" is comming soon. I really really really can't wait for Kanye's to drop though, September 11th!!!!

Anyone else as excited as me??
Long Link
I wonder and Champion both have me going crazy.

Man, that's an amazing performance! The solo is just wow! Better than the album version IMO.
That's my favorite Pearl Jam song (along with Jeremy of course) and one of my favorite songs ever.

I'd like to watch the full concert, do you know where and which year was it held?

How can AC/DC, Bon Jovi and Tenacious D be on the same list as Korn, Linkin Park and Green Day!?!?!
That should be outlawed!
I mean, I can barely stand those bands to be on the same list as Rob Zombie.

And did Oasis and Aerosmith make a song with fricken Green Day?!?! I lost so much respect for Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and the Gallagher bros!

From what I remember reading around, that concert was held back in 1992 at Pink Pop or something. In the Netherlands, I believe.

Release is another song I really like of theirs. It's slow, but I think it's great.

Mon Aug 27, 2007 1:24 pm

I've been listening to some J. S. Bach recently. Dont know why but I've just had this urge for a while to listen to classical music and thats the composer of the week for me.

Chillout brother, im sure its just a mash up, Linkin Park/Jay-Z style

Mon Aug 27, 2007 8:10 pm

Yea I have this strange boner for mash-ups. It really pisses my friends off but eh, I like them.

So Joe no need to lose respect for those guys.

Anyway, these are my latest additions to my library, do I get any respect for this? lol

1. Nirvana - All Apologies (3:47)
2. Bush - Bush - Bush - Come Down (Acoustic) (4:18)
3. Bush - Come Down (5:25)
4. Radiohead - Creep (3:56)
5. Cypress Hill - Cypress Hill - Cypress Hill - When the Shit Goes Down (3:08)
6. Pearl Jam - Dissident (3:35)
7. RUN D.M.C. - Don't Stop (3:47)
8. White Stripes - The Hardest Button To Button (3:32)
9. Nirvana - The Man Who Sold The World (4:20)
10. Paint (3:05)
11. Stabbing Westward - Save Yourself (4:12)
12. The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army (3:50)
13. Rahzel & The NBA Live Orchestra - Shak'n The Floor (3:06)
14. Stone Temple Pilots - Vasoline (2:56)

Pretty much got sick of only listening to some of these bands at work (XM) and on FM without having them on my computer.

Tue Aug 28, 2007 12:43 am

Now that a good list! (the Rock part anyways. I don't listen to Rap so I don't know if it's any good).

The only band I can't stand from that list is the White Stripes but the rest are really good bands.
Lately, Radiohead and Bush have really grown into me. And I like some stuff from the Stone Temple Pilots too. (Y)

Thanks for the info, Cy.

Tue Aug 28, 2007 1:09 pm

Was anybody at the Chicago Rock the Bells?

Holy shit what a show. From Immortal Technique going fucking nuts on stage and killing it, to the ridiculous freestyling host, to Nas performing so long non-stop, to Wu Tang going insane and almost killing the piece of shit in the front row.

Wow.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=KrUfMwCPxI0

There's the video of the near fight with Wu and the idiot.
