Yes, but I believe you have to toggle a setting somewhere. I think a solution was posted in a thread a while back - have a look around the NBA Live 2001 forums.

did you have any luck getting it to work
I have searched the whole site and found no major refrence or help to getting it to work ?
I've got 03 and 04 and 01 and am trying to get 01 to work so i can give it 2 a bad with my old pc that i'm giving him.... 98 doesen't mind it but i cn't get my copy to work with XP
what settings do i have to change ?

I'll be the first to admit, i don't have the Live Org CD any more, i gave it away... as i saved it to my HD and allways use CD cracks when i bought 03 it was redundant...
now it seems i have a use for it and have un zipped it but can't get it to work... i reckon it must be the no cd crack hasen't been designed for XP so that rules out it ever working.. thats my thought..
