Nba Live 08 Wii

I saw the videos for Nba Live on Wii and it shows how you play with the remote, but I am wondering if I can play with the Wii classic controller.
It seems a bit complicated to play with the remote and I don't think it'll be as accurate as playing with a controller.

Well, the motions in the game are simply replacing a button press. Like most Wii games unfortunately. It's not mirroring your motions.

I wish more games would allow for the classic controller/GameCube controller. Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition and Smash Bros. Brawl both do this. I'd be more apt to play through Twlight Princess a second time if I could just use my WaveBird.

Unfortunately, the Wii is not getting much attention despite being on the verge of becoming the number one console. EA, like most people, are just porting PS2 games and tacking on controls that replace button presses with Wii-mote movements.

Thank Darko for Nintendo...and Metroid Prime 3...mmmm...

Off-topic: Twilight Princess is a pretty good game, but quite long. I got halfway through, but my Wii kept getting error messages saying it could not read the disc. I had to send it back and start Zelda over again.......

Well, I'm buying Nba Live 08 for Wii no matter what since I don't have PS3 or 360.
Might buy it for PC, but I'm kind of reluctant.
I'll just have to see how Live plays out on the Wii.

Mine did the same thing, but I got a SD Card for $5 at Staples to back up my saves.

I was more interested in the Wii version before Madden 08 turned out to be a disaster compared to Madden 07. Now I'm unsure... I'm going with PC for Live 08 simply because of the ability to update it.

$5?!?!?!?!
How much memory was it? That's 6 times less than a 1gb sd card at EB.
I haven't bought one myself, but I don't have much to save.

I only got a 512MB one. Buying the official "Wii SD Card" or most things at EB are usually rip offs. You can get any SD Card, Staples (or similar store) has plenty of brands, often on sale. Same with NewEgg. Mine is just a PNY one.
