You've no doubt seen it already. But I just want to hear your opinions. Personally I am just shocked and speechless. And he managed to walk away eventually, which is even more crazy.

Wow, I'm shocked his legs didn't snap. I guess he really did the best thing he could do, which was to go limp and have his entire body absorb the impact.

I forgot the rules of that competition (Big Air) - do the judges take into account only the first jump or what you do on the half-pipe (where Jake fell)as well?

I was shocked when I saw this. He was very lucky to come away virtually unscathed. Check out his shoes!

He had a walking stick with him, it was quite a fall he took, saw it on SC a few days ago. He's lucky to be alive right now.

Well, I do admit, a laugh or something came out when he hit the floor and his shoes went flying... afterwards I was like oh shit he might really be hurt. But the shoe flying thing was a first and I wasn't expecting it.

Hey, I read that he walked off before I viewed the video. So I assumed he was OK. And come on, it was hilarious. The shoes flying, someone saying "Hardest hit I've seen...oh, a 720, nice!", it wasn't my fault.

Laughs aside, he certainly should have won. None of the other competitors could do that.

Yeah, the commentators should've been like: "Oh he pulls out the 40 ft fall without a skateboard, magnificent, this is the first time I've seen anyone do this trick before, he definitely deserves gold!"

"Wow, I can't believe he made that 720" sais Tony Hawk while the guy is possibly dead on the ground.

The thing I find funny is how he tries to swim or run in mid air. I'm pretty sure we would all do that in the situation, it just reminded me of a cartoon.
