This came up to mind when i was answering a question in a different post so i thought i'd throw it out there; one thing i really wish EA would consider - Technical fouls.
I know it could open up a whole can of worms and gameplay balance issues but it is a part of the 'real life' game, especially after last season's officiating changes locked down on things; it's hard to remember a single game from last season where technical fouls didn't affect game outcomes at least somewhat; they could maybe implement an additional rating (50-99) for some kind of player emotion factor, maybe call it 'Temperament' or 'Disposition' or something like that; it would provide for some great new animations and the chances of a T being called might rise or fall depending on whether total team fouls are being called favorably for one team over another, how bad a team is being blown out, how close/tight a game is down the stretch or if two players with high/bad 'temperaments' are matched up on one another etc; so guys who are cool-headed like Nash would very rarly pick up a T, whereas firey competitors like Artest or Rasheed might get them more often; i think it'd make games a lot less predictable with the chances of a double-T ejection and a whole lot more challenging/exciting, especially with your superstar picking up an early T in crucial playoff game; and if EA does something to make coaches more of a factor rather than just a token figure head, it could really make things challenging if they happen to get tossed out of a game, which happens in real games
i wish the focus would be less on a non-gameplay features like team chemistry (listening to Carlos Arroyo whine about not enough mins or not getting along with Dwight Howard for instance so the simple/predictable/obvious solution is just to trade him away, improve team chem and end up with a happy super team), and focus on something that is part of 'real life' gameplay, ie. technical fouls
"If it's in the game, it's in the game" and I could care less about Arroyo and his feeling we need more team bonding; no offense Carlos, it's just an example; anyway, just my 2 cents
