Absolutely, though even if only one version is on display I'll be sure to ask questions about both. (Y)

Definitely things I'll be asking about and putting forward as suggestions. I'll also be mentioning my gripe about the system of trading through the PDA in Dynasty Mode since that drags out the process and makes negotiations/multiple offers difficult.

perhaps it would be better to get a response in a few "hours" in the game instead of days. otherwise, i'd say do it like the old-school way... offer trades and they can accept or reject your offer and if they accept you can accept or reject it, but if you get rejected too many times, the GM gets sick of talking to you and doesn't want to speak with you until the next day or two.

i have seen you talk about that quite often and i gotta say i fully agree. i also wish they would put counter offers back into the game. i mean if you are close to a deal in real life they might counter with something and get it done, it was great to have in the game.

I didn't see this posted anywhere (apologies if it has been), but the official Live site has an interview with Andrew from the event. Click on the third item to see it.

EDIT: Why is my link not turning blue?

Q: What’d you buy?
A: I picked up a Ben Gordon authentic jersey. So needless to say, I hope he doesn’t get traded tomorrow.

As I've mentioned elsewhere, I'm just waiting on some info about a couple of embargo dates on a couple of items. Depending on the dates, I might wait a couple of days to post a report or post a few reports as the embargo dates pass. I would like to reiterate that I was truly impressed, and very pleased to discover a few things in particular.

Updates will be made available here.

Damn it, I would've loved to have gone with you Andrew to the Community Day (& to the NBA Draft too). Would've been a great experience. I've been to one live NBA game (Clippers hosting Suns) & was good to go to, but would love to go to draft too.

I suggest several reports based on the items' embargo dates, and then a full summary once they are all passed, plus any photos or videos that you took.

One thing that came to my mind, is Tim still working with EA on the next-gen version?

Fortunately, I'm no longer under the control of a credit card. Fuck the system! :headbang:

Wow.
I used to envy you, now I yearn for you Andrew.

I try to avoid using it as much as possible, though it's a necessity when you're checking into a hotel or shopping online (or overseas). As long as you don't fall into the trap of thinking your credit limit is money you have to spend, it's not too dangerous.

Hey andrew, do you know if they will use digimask feature in NBA Live 08 when creating a player? if not could you ask/suggest they implement it. It's awesome in rainbow six vegas and it would be so much quicker to make a real life nba version of you.

As far as I know they're not using that feature.

I looked up that program and downloaded it to try it. It's not very good at headshapes. It had my ears flat and my face was too thin. The text to speech function was pretty cool, though. I could copy some text to the clipboard and click a button and the cyberface would start talking and moving it's lips in that robotic microsoft voice.

A much better technology that can be licensed is the Facegen modeller, which was used in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, but you could only get your actual face in it by modding.

Oh I dindt know about facegen. I have a 360 not a computer and I used the digimask in rainbow six and it looks exactly like me right down to little moles. (not the big puffy ones, dont have those.) but dangit I got the cam I wish they use some face mapping tech for us it would make creating a face so much easier.
