Wow...not much I can think of to say for this, losing an elite scorer. I don't think Robin Van Persie and Adebayor are ready to take on the full goal scoring load yet...Their overhauling for the roster, with the team focused around a LOT of young players (heck Rosicky is considered old on this team and hes only like 27).

Barcelona with Eto and Henry? That's a scary thought. Good luck to you in Barcelona, Thierry Henry. Thanks for all the good times you've brought Arsenal.

Well, Arsenal isn't in that bad shape because they should be able to get back a decent striker with the 32 million they got.

Yikes, how do they decide who to start between Eto'o, Messi, and Henry? I imagine Messi will get the shaft.

I think Eto'o will be on the bench, or maybe he's going somewhere else.

Lets just hope the superstar ego's wont collide. Remember Real Madrid , anyone ? .

Yes, Barca is even more powerful now, but will they work together ? Thats the perfect question to ask know. Lets see... There is Ronaldinho, Messi , Eto'o and Henry. I'm not feeling quite comfortable thinking about that. If they are going to work together in team spirit , then they are going to be unbeatable. And yes, you can quote me on that.

Let's say:

Valdes; Thuram, Marquez, Puyol, Van Bronckhorst (Zambrotta); Messi, Xavi, Deco (Iniesta), Ronaldinho (Giuly); Eto'o, Henry.

Barca will probably adapt a 4-4-2 with Henry's arrival so theres no real worries as to who will be dropped. Its likely Deco will leave this summer (even before the Henry move) so its really more of just replacing his AM position with a second striker. I expect Dinho and Messi to keep their roles and right and left wing forwards and the active roles of Henry and Etoo to roam all over the pitch will ease whatever concerns that could arise over the missing midfielder.

I think that now Barcelona's roster is too busy: Messi cannot play as midfielder, and Eto'o cannot stay on the bench. I think that he will be traded, maybe to AC Milan for cash  we really need a big scorer (Inzaghi is old, Ronaldo is a good player but not the strong scorer he was several years ago, Gilardino..????? He seemed to be a phenomenon, but I think was an error buying him).

So, IMO Barca will adapt to 4-3-3, with:

Valdes - Zambrotta, Puyol, Thuram, Marquez - Xavi, Deco, Iniesta - Henry, Ronaldinho, Messi

Yes he can... he played as right midfielder and also attacking midfielder in Argentina friendlies & Copa America matches. So, in my opinion, this will be the formation, with all the signings:

Valdes; Thuram, Marquez, Puyol, Abidal/Zambrotta; Messi, Yaya Toure, Xavi, Ronaldinho; Eto'o, Henry

Didn't come as a shock to me, because he has been talking about it for a while, many rumors, but Thieery and Ronaldinho should be a deadly punch.
