Great New Idea

It's called Draft Day Deals. On the day of the draft, BEFORE the draft, the computer gives you 5 minutes (real time) to bust out a final draft day deal (trading players for picks, and picks for picks etc) giving you a final chance to improve your position in the draft. No more guessing of what team is going to have a poor season and trading for their pick in January hoping they end up in the lottery. What do you think?

Draft day deals would be fantastic, many of us have been hoping that depth would be added to the Draft for a few years now. It's finer details like that which could take Dynasty Mode to the next level.

i think that Draft Day Deals would be awesome. I love to be able to trade picks for players and picks for picks. I would love to be able to try and get two or three top ten picks. The Dynasty mode needs more of an upgrade not that it's not bad and this would make it much better.

It sounds very, very nice. When I played 07 I allways wanted to trade for a draft pick before the deadline. But you never know when teams are on a roll and suddenly you end up with a bad draft pick

Yeah, that's a good idea, but it would only really be effective if they improved the way incoming draft classes are scouted. They should let us play a college basketball all-star game with the incoming rookies (like in madden) or something to that effect. This way we'd be able to decide which picks we should try to trade for to get the player that we want. This would not only make the process more fun, but also more realistic.

Well, NBA Live does allow you to scout rookies in a one-on-game, though a five-on-five scrimmage with rookies you've been scouting would be preferable.
