just for fun...

what topics are you most likely to respond to (more specifically nba but can be something else)? if any, what is a distinguishing characteristic about your posts? you can also comment about other posters in the forum.

again this is just for fun. no flame wars intended here...

myself: i'll most likely respond to any topics involving the bulls. also i don't mind taking the side of the minority in nba discussions. also if i see something that i disagree with and think it's worth mentioning, i'll jump in the discussion. adding the rolling eyes icon in posts are fun. but i enjoy receiving more then dishing them out
here are some examples for other posters...

shane: makes very long posts
andrew: makes a post on just about every topic, especially the bulls
steven: homosexual comments when the situation calls for it
lebron james: will make very short posts. the guys a genius if you can read between the lines in his posts. one of my fav posters in this forum
psycho jackal: puts rolling eyes icons and thumbs up in his posts
the 'kobe in user name" posters: most likely will mention kobe bryant in a poll or 'top' list

If it's posted, there's a good chance I'll respond to it. :wink:

But take into account that I'm also the admin, so my response might be to moderate the discussion, rather than reply to the topic.

If I have something to say, I'll make a post. However, quite often I'll go to post a reply, realise I don't really have anything to say, and thus cancel the post. I might have around 7000 or 8000 posts if I didn't recognise my own posts for the sake of posting. :wink:

Sometimes i'll push post reply, and forget what i was going to say and push back on the browser...or maybe i'll type... "yeah." then realise that isn't really very post worthy and push back on my browser and not say anything.

I like having fun basically. I don't want to be caught up reading 2 year long posts that are about somebody's 2003 gripes or 2004 wishes...why waste time on that...i like General Talk the most...me and Pavel used to rule those boards! I like comedic and interesting threads the most...and they're mainly in General Talk. I like finding out the latest in the NBA, so i lurk NBA Talk a lot but don't post there much. I like improving my NBA Live (it's what this site is about after all) so i check 2003 announcements (not so much anymore). and i'll post there if i REALLY like something or if i think they deserve a comment. I like knowing the latest with live 04 so i'll check the forum there... Sometimes NLSC issues i'll attend to if needed.

I'll respond to an extremly marvelous patch, a patch that only needs a bit of improving, something of which I think of something that might be funny, something which I have a strong opinion on. And if it says Suns I'm already there.

In terms of forums, live 04 general, live 03 general, live 03 announcments, nba talk, general talk, other games sometimes, and nlsc issues and once it starts up again wishlist. I used to look at everything, which is why I have so many posts. Because I thought posting was so fun. I tried not to spam, I just always had something to say, although it was usually quick. I hate typing forever. Say this post is longer then usual for me. Do I get a plaque or something?

But now I gotta give the people what they want...

I try to throw in something funny (you judge) once in a while in whatever post I post in. I only make the occassional post really, and probably mainly in General since I've been here a while and it's all been done/said in NBA talk and I'd rather not repeat something somebody else said, only to have somebody else repeat it again in a month when the same topic is re-created. Plus it's offseason, and I don't get coverage here either way (a big 'Fuck You' to the fat cats downunder who don't see the worlds greatest sport when it's looking them in the face!).
As for the rest of the forum I've ventured into it once in a while. Hell it took me up until recently to post in the live 03 franchise section.
So I suppose my role here at the NLSC apart from being the resident homophobe, is to throw in a few smart ass coments, a few insults, and remind everyone that Michael Jordan is the greatest athlete of all time. (y)

And they will also remind us again, and again, and again, how much they dislike T-Mac/Iverson/Carter/Any other elite (whoops cross Carter off) Shooting guard/DIVAC (Who is a reigning World Champion, so suck on that)/etc.

Tony: No offense orso, but when he posts, it feels like he's mocking whoever it is he made a reply to...no offense man. You're one of the best patchers, and the thing with you is...you know you're one of the best which influences the way you post I guess.

It seems like you don't post quite as often, maybe it's because of your cavs franchise or something which boosts a posts per day. But I think you're not posting in the other forums as much.

Edit: It's 1am here and I'm bored so I counted your franchise posts, 42. Or around there. So it probably doesn't boost it much.
