Laptop won't shut down

Laptop won't shut down

Postby mvpshaq32 on Tue May 22, 2007 4:04 pm

My laptop isn't performing any of the functions from the start menu.
The shut down, restart, hibernate, standy by, switch user, and log off.
The hell is going on?

For Christ's sake, go search for a tech forum! There's tons of them.
The NLSC isn't exactly the place where to post about this

Immerse it in water. Gets rid of the problem.

Only issue is it creates a new one (and probably a new thread): My Laptop won't startup !!!?!?!?!@@!?!

Pipe down Joe.
Tech forums/sites are a pain to search based on my own experience so asking for help might not be a bad idea.

Posting about it here is ok, IMO. One must be prepared with the answers that will be offered though.

That water treatment of the laptop is very effective, I've heard.

I'd pull the plug. I had nightmares as a kid like unplugging didn't work either

While a tech forum is probably a better place to start looking for answers, there's absolutely no problem posting topics like this here.

His problem isn't that his PC doesn't shut down:

My laptop isn't performing any of the functions from the start menu.
The shut down, restart, hibernate, standy by, switch user, and log off.

But the fact that it doesn't shut down from the start menu.
