1-2. Without Brand your going to have to find some chemistry with the other guys. I think you should figure it out by the time you play Milwaukee. I suggest taking it at Shaq as much as you can on both floors, make him go to the line and try to get him in foul trouble.

With Brand out, I predict a 1-2 week. Hey, at least you will probably beat Atlanta.

I think you will go 2-1 too. As everyone else said, Miami will be too tough, but Hawks and Bucks are beatable. Good luck! (Y)

Brand is serious problem, but I think you will manage to grab two wins. 2-1 my guess

Hawks grab highscoring game in OT
Hawks 130, Clippers 124

Los Angeles, November 13th (AP) -- Clippers foul too often and loose in OT.
Maybe the Clippers underestimated the Hawks a bit too much. After an easy road win at the beginning of the season the Clippers thought it would go on like that. But this time the Hawks did not want to give away the win.
The first half was almost tied. Both teams executed well. Shaun Livingston stepped up with 17 points in the first half. Joe Johnson again had a great game against the Clippers and scored 11 in the first half. Main problem for the Clipps was that Tim Thomas and Sam Cassell picked up their fifth and 4th foul respectively which should decide the game in the end. Thomas as a Brandreplacement picked up his 6th early in the 3rd as they just could not leave him on the bench because of a lack of Power Forwards. And it became even harder. Cuttino Mobley injured his back in the 3rd which turned out to be back spasms. He will miss between 2-4 weeks.
With all that in mind the Clippers fell down by almost 11 points at the end of the 3rd quarter. But they came back strongly. Corey Maggette was on fire and scored 14 points in the 4th. The Clippers played tough D and were able to force many turnovers. When Joe Johnson hit a three the game was tied at 111. Now things became tight. With 0:17 seconds left on the clock Sam Cassell got the ball and dribbled around a screen to go to the basket. He collided mid-air with two defenders, got the foul and still made it. Cassell hit the freethrow with 0:08 left to play. The Hawks gave the ball to Joe Johnson but he got double and kicked it to Anthony Johnson who was about 3 steps away from the three point line and took the impossible shot with a defender in his face. He hit it.
In OT Cassell fouled out and the Clippers just had no chance with their limited bench. The Hawks outscored them easily and won.

Clippers go to OT again, do not fail this time
Heat 121, Clippers 124

Los Angeles, November 13th (AP) -- Corey Maggette dominates as the Clippers win at home.
The Clippers managed something special this night. With two of their starters out in Elton Brand and Cuttino Mobley they were able to grab an Overtime win at home against the Miami Heat. The Heat began strongly. Shaquille O`Neal and Dwyane Wade who are both in best shape at the moment gave them a comfortable lead in the first. The Clippers just tried to contain whenever it was possible. The Heat led by 4.
In the second quarter the Heat started to struggle a bit as they missed back-to-back shots. Shaun Livingston stepped up and scored 7 points as he used his size advantage against the Heat´s point guards. Corey Maggette did not seem to play a very important role so far. But he exploded in the third and scored 20 points. It was impossible to stop him and he gained his Clippers a nine point lead. The Heat lost the ball numerous times under pressure and L.A. was able to run fastbreaks and make the game easy. At this time the Clippers controlled and dominated the game. But as so often
they were not able to keep the pressure. The Heat came back in the 4th and were able to time the game although Maggette was still on fire.
Jason Williams hit the three to tie the game with 0:09 left. The Clippers could not locate a shot and the game went to OT.
In Overtime it was again Maggette who turned things around. He scored 8 points, including a very important three pointer to lift the Clippers past the favorits from Miami. He was 3-3 from down town. The Clippers won suprisingly but just played with more passion. Rookie Roy Hibbert broke out with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks. Tim Thomas had 22 points and Livingston added 20.

Clippers make it two in a row against Bucks
Clippers 98, Bucks 93

Los Angeles, November 17th (AP) -- Livingston, Maggette shine in Clipps´ win.
The Los Angeles Clippers have won again without Elton Brand. At Halftime the Clippers already led by two in a game were passing was the key. Both teams used their strenght to set up team mates. While the Clipps had three players in double digits at halftime, the Bucks had only one, but five with 6 or more. In the third quarter the Clippers gave the ball to Shaun Livingston mainly. He has emerged as one of the better scoring point guards since he became so fast over the last year and also has the size advantage against almost every point guard in the league. The Bucks were still sharing the ball but without success. They only scored 10 points in the third and made it real easy for the Clippers. Maggette´s threepointer at the end of the 3rd gave the Clipps a 12 point lead. The Bucks did not want to give up and came on in the 4th with some nasty shots by Michael Redd and a putback by Charlie Villanueva. But it just was not enough to beat the Clippers who were always able to hit right back and won by 5 at the end.

Oh damn! I missed a week. I would've predicted 2-1 aswell. Oh well, nice to see that you are over .500 now (Y)

I hope Elton Brand will be a bit healthier for next week.

Nice win vs. Miami, Maggette was great. (Y) You had some monster statlines each day of this week.

And I predicted right once again, 2-1 it was. Yeey...

Just as I predicted 2-1, probably most of us were sayin' that... Anyways, you're doin' pretty good right now, if your team won't get any big injuries, I'm predicting you'll have a very great ending of November...

Anthony15, Sry, I totally forgot to answer. I am using Jimmy´s stuff with a bit tweaked sliders how I like them. I think it is working pretty well. For the simulated stats I use the primacy fix bat every week or two weeks.

Nice move :o

2-1 is good. 3-0 would be even better, I mean you were really able to beat Hawks, but tough luck at the end, also the injury of Mobley. Kind of surprising you managed to beat Heat and Bucks without him, but I guess you played great team basketball and won. 10 day contracts feature in Live would be the best thing you need right now.

November 18th - November 24th

The Los Angles Clippers will try to end their home series with as many wins as possible before they head to a five game road trip. On Monday they will host the New York Knicks. The second game this season against the Knicks, last time both teams met at MSG Center the Clippers won 90-97. The Knicks are 2-8 currently and only the Jazz and the Celtics are even weaker. They have major problems on the defensive end. Their opponents score 101 points per game and are able to shoot .44% from the field. New York has almost no inside presence when it comes to defend except Eddy Curry who averages 10 boards and 1.4 blocks. Channing Frye also has 1.4 blocks but is still playing a bit softly.
On Wednesday the Clippers welcome the Golden State Warriors in kinda of a rivalry game. The Warriors are having a great season so far with seven wins and three losses. Big props go to Don Nelson who managed to change the whole team structure. While the Warriors were known for uptempo basketball they now have one of the best defenses in the game with 89.2 OPPG. They also are sharing the ball so no one scores more than 15 PPG. Eleven steals per game (NBA Rank two) support the defensive strenght.
The last game this week on Friday will definitely be a rivalry game. The Lakers "visit" the Clippers in Staples Center. Currently at 4-6 the Lakers probably bring the best player right now with them: Kobe Bryant. He is the leading scorer in the league with 31.1 PPG. He also scored a season high 52 two weeks ago. He leads his team and will mean a handful for the Clippers.
Positive News are that Elton Brand will only miss the first game against New York and then will be at 100% against the Warriors and the Lakers. Cuttino Mobley is still out for the week.
Feel free to predict the outcome of the week.

Thx for all your comments ! I am sry I did not have so much time lately. Hope youre still watchin ;)

You will go 3-0. You should win each game by atleast 5 points!

I don't care about the time between the updates, just as long as it keeps going!
